Prize for the best galette in the Pyrénées-Atlantiques department for Maison Berterreix. a3rd-generation baker and pastry chef, Bruno doesn't just produce the famous "home-made" galette in January. He is also a talented pastry chef, making viennoiseries, special breads, sandwiches, wraps, macaroons, Arinak shortbread, Basque cakes, ice creams and homemade sorbets (12 flavors): chocolate with Espelette chili, cherry, raspberry, mango... Nous sommes allé chercher du pain et nous en avons profité pour acheter leur gâteau basque; Les gâteaux étaient très bons et de bon rapport qualité prix; La gérante est très serviable;
On ne dirait pas que l'on était dans un lieu hyper touristique.

Nous sommes en cure à Cambo-les-Bains et logés aux Chalets d'Hirriberia à Itxassou, je vais chercher mon pain dans cette boulangerie tous les jours sauf le lundi (jour de fermeture).
L'accueil est très agréable et la boutique a une bonne odeur de pain bien frais. Le pain est excellent ainsi que la pâtisserie.
Ne changez rien.
