A visit to Maison Antton's workshop is a must: immerse yourself in cocoa-producing countries, and discover the different stages of processing, from the cocoa bean to the chocolate lozenges that will no longer hold any secrets for you! You'll see the chocolatier at work, and then sample some delicious treats. The chocolate factory is renowned for its respect for the chocolate-making tradition of the Basque Country, and for passing on the flavours of the Basque terroir through its superb creations. Opening time and information on ANTTON CHOCOLATIER
From Easter to All Saints' Day, open daily from 10am to 7pm and free guided tour of the chocolate factory, departing every 1/2 hour depending on traffic (approx. 20 minutes). Tasting offered. Self-guided tour out of season. Groups by appointment. Annual closure in January. Online sales. Other stores in Urrugne, Centre Commercial Ametzondo, Bonloc, Soustons (May/June 2024).

The cons : shop is very popular and can be full of tourists
The place is wonderful, a must seen if you pass in Espelette, they offer a small visit in their chocolate workshop (part of it for sure), and dégustation.
Two specialities of this place:
The chockate with piment (yes, it is spicy) is a wonderful accompaniment with coffee.
The othe one is the orangette, the fine layer of dark chocolate cove the orangette,
