Culture Le Mans

ASPG residents' association represents the Saint-Pavin Gambetta and districts of the city of le Mans. Hyperactive, the association takes care of the grains so Manceaux enjoy the growth of the city and the shops of its districts are not left out. attic attic, competition belote and meetings neighbourhood, the association is available and participates in all suceptibles events to increase the dynamism of the city! In direct connection with the city hall, the ASPG chat problems encountered by residents but keep in mind that it is them that must be in the heart of the life of le Mans.

Housed in a modern, welcoming space in the Maison Saint-Julien, this library offers a rich and varied collection of over 10,000 documents in open access: religious books, humanities, novels, local history, essays, comic strips, as well as 2,000 magazines and 650 DVDs... There are also 40,000 books in the reserves, from the end of the ^15th century to the present day. Constantly enriching its catalog, this library is sure to delight the curious. An attentive librarian will guide you to that rare gem. It's an ideal place to read or work in peace and quiet.

The Espal also has its own library. Here you will find books for adults and children, magazines as well as a choice of Dvds (French and foreign films) but also discs and CD-Roms. Not bad! Many areas are represented: science, art, food, novels, history… A space is reserved for young people. Like the network of libraries and libraries, exhibitions are also regularly presented here. L also organizes twice a year the Drive of Readers: you share your feelings about your latest readings around small dishes, which each participant has brought. In all simplicity!

Now home to the town's tourism and heritage department, the Maison du Pilier Rouge dates back to the ^16th century. All year round, as part of the "Ville d'art et d'histoire" label, it offers a store, exhibitions, heritage classes, events and guided tours. Le Silo in Le Mans is the place to be for amateurs and professionals of contemporary music who want to improve their skills, share their passion and make a living from their art. With its 10 fully-equipped studios, the association welcomes nearly 800 members and 150 groups every year. Rooms ranging in size from 22 to 47 square meters, including one with a recording studio, enable musicians to express themselves to the full. Storage boxes are also available for equipment. Le Silo also offers a host of services and tools to support musicians in their practice.
