Founded in 1999, Tradysel is a cooperative bringing together some fifteen associated salt workers and around thirty independents, all committed to the artisanal production of Guérande sea salt. It promotes age-old know-how by harvesting 100% natural salt from the Batz-sur-Mer salt marshes, which have been in operation since the 9th century. It controls distribution to guarantee a fair income for producers, and promotes agriculture that respects the local ecosystem. It offers coarse salt, fleur de sel and by-products, combining tradition and modernity.
