The story begins in the 1920s. Originally, a lady used a simple cookie cutter to make wafers for herself: the Avel Vor (sea wind). The business takes its current form under the leadership of Gérard Jadeau who widens the range to include almost all the products of traditional Breton pastry making. Born into a family of salt workers, Erwan Bourdic has created the Natursel brand. He offers a wide range of products from the Guérande salt marshes: coarse salt, fleur de sel, natural and flavored fine salt, pickled or natural samphire. Also flavored mustards, seaweed flakes, mixtures for cooking... To top it all off, he offers a visit to the salt pans, accompanied by a salt worker who will explain how the salt pans work. You can even collect salt or fleur de sel with him and taste the salicorne.
