Rich archaeological site occupied around the 3rd century BC, then by the Romans and Merovingians. A superposition of three churches in which you will discover superb Romanesque frescoes recently restored are erected in the center of the village. The rock church (a unique monument in France) was founded around the 8th century, carved into the rock and built on three levels. It is through a narrow fault of about fifteen meters that one penetrates in the heart of the rock, almost in a crypt. A few steps give access to the upper Romanesque church. One level higher, the half-round tower houses a chapel dedicated to Saint Michael.
