In the th century, there were two parishes dependent on two seigneuries. The treaty of Brétigny in 1360 moved the dividing line of the French and English possessions between the two parishes. In the Revolution, every parish with its peculiarities, two communes were created: Saint-Pierre and Saint-Etienne. The church of Saint-Etienne, rebuilt in the th century, preserved its th century portal. That of Saint-Pierre contains a th-century stained glass, representing crucifixion, angels and a beautiful statue of a th century wooden angel.
