The Brûlerie Corrézienne is a real institution in the department. From its real name Cafés Bogota, the brand was created in 1930. Gourmet corrézien specialises in duck and goose foie gras and its derivatives, such as neck stuffed with foie gras and fruit stuffed with foie gras. As an accompaniment, a whole range of jams: black cherries, onions, peppers? But also a selection of French wines particularly adapted to foie gras. This distillery has been created by Henri Bellet in 1922. The shop, close to the distillery, seduces by its scents of plants and fruits. All the liqueurs made from macerated plants (verbena, thyme, génépi...) by the house are there, starting with the guignolet Bellet, the first creation, followed by the specialities "la châtaigne royale", a liqueur made by infusion of chestnuts, and the fruity aperitifs, such as "le Bell'pêche", "la myrtille". Without forgetting the liqueurs made from génépi and gentian, nor the green pastis, a mixture of aniseed and verbena to be tasted with 4 to 5 times its volume of water added. La Maison Lepetit is a cannery of craftsmen-manufacturers specializing in goose and duck. It all began in 1984 with the takeover of a cannery where private individuals came to have their canned food crimped and sterilized. 30 years later and three generations later, the Lepetit family continues to supply you with goose or duck foie gras in all its forms: whole, in blocks, truffled, confit, rillettes, but also specialities such as goose neck stuffed with foie gras or the Périgord pâté with truffles or even "le délice briviste" made with pork and foie gras with cognac.
