Read moreChâteau Filhot is a wine estate located in the commune of Sauternes. It is classified as a second growth in the official Bordeaux wine classification of 1855. The estate covers 350 hectares, including 62 hectares of vineyards. Château Filhot is renowned not only for its wine, but also for its vast English-style park created by landscape gardener Louis-Bernard Fischer in 1845. Tours can accommodate up to 35 people and are available in French and English. Appointments can also be made for weekend visits.
