In collaboration with Patrick Fouquet, Master Jam Maker and 2018 World Champion, Janick Paytra is now taking his turn at making artisanal jams. In 2019, he took part in the Confituriades for the first time, and was awarded the gold medal of the Ordre des Maîtres confituriers. Janick prepares his jams in his workshop/boutique, sourcing as much as possible from short circuits: mirabelle plums from his village, strawberries from Dordogne, apricots from Roussillon, kiwis from Lot-et-Garonne... A nice souvenir to bring back from Saint-Émilion for a change from wine!
