In collaboration with Patrick Fouquet, master jam maker world champion 2018, Janick Paytra launches in his turn in the making of artisanal jams. He participates for the first time in 2019 in the Confituriades and obtains the gold medal of the Order of Master Jammakers. Janick prepares his jams in his workshop/shop and sources as much as possible in short circuit: mirabelle plums from his village, strawberries from Dordogne, apricots from Roussillon, kiwis from Lot-et-Garonne... A nice souvenir to bring back from Saint-Emilion, to change the wine!

With a passion for history and the arts, Maëlig initially focused on archaeology, before succumbing to her passion for the craft of chocolate. After working at Maison Cochet in Saint-Raphaël and Maison Saunion in Bordeaux, she obtained a CAP Pâtisserie with a mention complémentaire in Pâtisserie, Chocolaterie, Confiserie, Glacerie. An Artisan Chocolatier, she chose to set up her chocolate factory in Saint-Emilion, where she expresses all her creativity. Made in France, her packaging even includes cocoa pods.

No doubt that the tasting stall, set on the windowsill, will make you want to go through the door. Jean Luc Wrobel has set up his artisanal salting and cheese shop in an old grain silo. After some twenty years in Savoie, this Pole of origin came to settle in Saint-Emilion. Cheeses from Savoy, the Pyrenees, Auvergne, a dozen varieties of sausages, black pig shoulder nuts... The hardest thing is to choose.

Clos des Menuts, AOC Saint-Emilion Grand Cru, is a must-see wine estate with superb monolithic medieval cellars dotted with ancient grain silos. An underground cellar in its own right, with dusty bottles, nooks and carved stone walls... On your way back up to the boutique, you'll enjoy a tasting session and no doubt leave with a few bottles, boxes or accessories. Celene Bordeaux was born from the regrouping of the historical house elaborating crémant de Bordeaux and the Lannoye vineyards with three estates on the right bank of the Garonne in the appellation Castillon Côtes-de-Bordeaux (château Moulin de Clotte), Puisseguin Saint-Emilion (château Lanbersac) and Saint-Emilion grand cru (château Ambe Tour Pourret). The Bourrigaud family produces very distinctive, rich and straightforward wines, with a strong emphasis on the terroir of the appellation. Formerly named Domaine de Bord-Madeleine and then Château Lafleur Vachon, Château Raymond Tapon has a prestigious history. In 1904, Mr Chaumet-Tapon's wines won the grand prix in Saint-Louis. The vines, cultivated according to traditional methods, are located in Saint-Emilion. A superb black robe, dark in depth and purple on the surface, dresses this bottle with an expressive bouquet that combines red fruits and spices with an elegant toasted and fresh woody flavour.

Jérôme Dohet produces a delicious nectar on a 1.3-ha vineyard. Here grape harvest is manual and in small crates. The bunches of grapes have previously been deleafed and selected, arranged and thinned after months of ripening. Do not miss the authentic 1904 press. Small originality: The owner will make you taste his wine in the cellar, where wonderful sculptures keep the barrels. White plaster busts of 1863, and animal representations produced by a friend of the family who comes from Australia. Kangaroo, elephant, bull, cockerel, wild boar, and crocodile will keep you company during tasting.

At Grand Barrail Lamarzelle Figeac castle, you will find all the wines of the Dourthe vineyards, champagnes Thienot, Canard-Duchêne and Joseph Perrier, but especially for enthusiasts, rare Grands Crus and vintages. We like the young and professional team that is available to lavish us on the best advice. Tasting workshops to explore various wines and terroirs are regularly organized, from the simplest to the most complex, for novices and for amateurs. By visiting the cellars, you can discover that everything here is done by hand, from grape harvests to the sorting. The 15 hectares of vineyards are treated without insecticides, vine population is from 65% merlot and 35% franc cabernet. The stainless vats mix with the older vats made of cement and wood. 80,000 bottles are produced here every year. Their cellar, sober and classy, beautifully enhance their wines. La Cave Dourthe is perfect for all those who are interested in wine, in order to share a common passion. The cellar has a private tasting room in its floors.

In the ^19th century, these macaroons were traditionally served as a dessert after a meal accompanied by the famous Saint-Emilion wine. The macaroons made by the widow Goudichaud even had the privilege of delighting members of the Tasting Jury and visitors at the 1867 Universal Exhibition. Copied but never equalled, Nadia Fermigier is the only one with the right to make these genuine macaroons. The tearoom is 200 metres away.

For four generations, the Puyol family has been producing top-quality Saint-Emilion wines. An estate of almost 9 hectares, Château Beaurang benefits from its location in the south of the appellation, on early-maturing sands and gravels. As a result, the Château's wines are very fruity and aromatic. As a family, with friends or as a couple, don't hesitate to discover this wine estate and learn the secrets of this vineyard, enhanced by family anecdotes from Delphine (^{4th generation} ) or Claude (her father and^{3rd generation} ).

At the same time place of exhibitions and tastings, the House of Wine of Saint-Emilion has also a store with more than 450 references. In the tasting room, you will discover the appellations Saint-Emilion, Saint-Emilion Grand Cru, Lussac Saint-Emilion and Puisseguin Saint-Emilion. The Saint-Emilion cradle of the Moueix family, Château Fonroque has been owned by the Guillard family since July 2017. The estate is distinguished by its meticulous, almost pointillist approach to vine-growing and harvesting. The patience and passion dedicated to preserving the soil and enhancing the terroir have earned the estate the prestigious status of first biodynamically-certified Grand Cru Classé. A vineyard and wines with High Environmental Value in organic conversion! Château Tour Grand Faurie has belonged to the Feytit family since 1949. Proud representatives of the fourth generation, Isabelle and Franck Feytit continue to run this family estate 2 kilometers north of Saint-Emilion. Château Fonrazade is just a stone's throw from the medieval village of Saint-Emilion, in the heart of a prestigious, thousand-year-old terroir classified as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Open for visits and tastings, this beautiful property adjoins the Premier Grand Cru Classé Château Angélus and produces a Saint-Emilion Grand Cru 2015. Our oenologists tasted it: "The nose is bursting with fresh red fruit and oriental spices that bring warmth. On the palate, the attack is sustained with crisp, fruity tannins. Lots of freshness.

Described by Robert Parker as a "visionary, self-proclaimed revolutionary" and "English winemaking guru", Jonathan Maltus owns several wines in Napa and the Bordeaux region, including a Saint-Emilion Grand Cru (Château Teyssier). With its 40-meter diameter, the Dome is undoubtedly one of his most incredible cellars. The cellar, the tasting room... it's all curves, light and technology. From the terrace that wraps itself around this winegrowing UFO, you can admire the valley as far as Libourne and Château Angelus.

A favorite among the grands crus classés, Château le Chatelet is located near the collegiate church and the bell tower overlooking the monolithic church, and next to the old church of Saint-Martin de Mazerat. The notoriety of this cru needs no further confirmation, for as early as 1867, the international jury at the Paris Exhibition awarded it the Gold Medal.
