The old church of Saint-Vincent, the oldest church in Mérignac, has been repeatedly put to the test of fire. First in 1853, then in 1997 and in 2001. But the building, dating from the 12th century, has been able to resist and continues to stand proudly in the town of Mérignac thanks in particular to rehabilitation work. It is since this work, moreover, that the Old Church has become a place of photographic exhibition, now very much in demand.
