After several generations of wine merchants, the Grandes Caves de Paris, founded in 1986, is a true institution for wine lovers in the Paris region. Since 1988, Les Grandes Caves De Paris has been located in the west of Paris, where several cellars are located, including this one. Offering wines and brandy, each shop is run by a specialist who knows the partner producers well and knows how to be attentive to customer requirements. The wines from the greatest estates are rigorously selected with more than 1,800 references in all the wine-growing regions of France (Alsace, Burgundy, Champagne, Loire, Languedoc-Roussillon, Rhône, Bordeaux...).

Jean-Pierre Descaves is his real name... he is sometimes strange and curious. This former restaurateur became a wine merchant because he loves wine and quality wine above all. His cellar displays small and grands crus from all regions and a lot of Corsican wines that were often rewarded. A fine selection of champagne, alcohol from beautiful establishments and some beautiful products from Southwest complete the range. The guy is friendly and does not hesitate to make his customers enjoy his preferences.

The cellar was created in 1895 - it is one of the oldest in Paris - and generations have succeeded in maintaining the reputation of the establishment. Its current patina has existed for quite some time now and it has nothing of a cellar where lads come have a drink among friends. More than 1000 different wines are available but also alcohol and spirits. Here everything is serious. Marie-Christine, Jean-Marie and Jean-Charles Allemoz, fourth and fifth generations, enliven their cellar and welcome guests as friends. They provide excellent advice for the best food and wine pairing or for a gift to suit the tastes and habits. You can enjoy yourself on-site at the restaurant, next door, where one carries the precious nectar, always of good quality. The prices are quite affordable unless you touch the great vintages.

Created in 1934, Les Caves de Courcelles are located at Rue de Courcelles, nearly at the corner of Boulevard Berthier, just steps from Porte de Champerret. Patrick Sécheresse, with an experience of more than 20 years, now runs the house, after being trained by his parents.
