Mac Mahon is one of the most beautiful cinemas still in operation. Opened in 1938, the Parisians were able to discover in the Liberation of all American films that they had been deprived of during the occupation. The room won a very strong reputation. In the 50 s, we even talked about the band of the "Mac-Mahoniens", those who like Bertrand Tavernier or Patrick Brion visited the place with diligence. In 1959, Les Cahiers du Cinéma took over the Mac-Mahoniens manifesto, which clamaient loud and clear: " staging on the scenario ". The culmination of this golden age: in Jean-Luc Godard's classic "A Bout de Souffle", many scenes are filmed in the Mac-Mahon. But it was in 1987, thanks to Claude Berri in the Civil Society of Auteurs, Réalisateurs et Producteurs (L'ARP), that the establishment became an unavoidable place for movie lovers. Three rooms make up this theatre including the great, absolutely beautiful one, referring to the heyday of the Seventh Art.

After Jacques Hébertot's death in 1970, Jean-Claude Brialy was run in the theatre. In 2003, Danièle and Pierre Franck were at his head. At the end of 2013 Francis Lombrail became the new theatre director.

A cartoon or animated film is waiting throughout the year, the youngest (from 3 or 5, depending on the projected work) only in the morning. This is the only time for toddlers, which is more than good when few Parisian cinemas are interested in these budding enthusiastic. 6 € the place for a child surprises a little, but why not… For the larger ones, this Art and Trial film releases many authors'films. A four-hundred-and-a-half-room hall, Ateliers Berthier hosted the Odéon shows for three years, the time to work in the venerable 6 th arrondissement hall. The construction of these workshops made of brick, stone stone and metal is the responsibility of architect Charles Garnier. Walls and red armchairs arranged in a circle: L'Européen is the perfect setting for listening to artists in the field of French chanson, world music, jazz or rock. The 350-seat venue is a former café-concert dating back to 1872: Fragson, Yvette Guilbert and Edith Piaf all performed here. In the 1950s, operettas were performed here. It was also home to the Théâtre en Rond, run by directors and actors keen to return to the original Greek forms of theater - an aesthetic "opposed" to Italian-style theater.

The acoustics of this Art Deco room are very well-known. With four hundred places, it was built in 1930 on the plans of Auguste Perret, the architect who designed the theatre of the Champs-Elysées. It is used in the activities of the Ecole normale de Musique de Paris, but is also rented for the concert organisation. This is a plateau where many pianists take place. There are also the famous 12-hour concerts every Tuesday, Thursday and some Wednesday from October to May (off school holidays). These concerts are free to discover tomorrow's talents.
