Traditional Southwestern cuisine in a restaurant in Bordeaux offering grandmother's dishes.
Would you like to discover the flavors of the South-West's gastronomic heritage? Since 1968, our team has been sourcing the finest local produce to concoct simple, traditional dishes reminiscent of those served by our grandmothers. Chef Franck Audu's seasonal dishes include crunchy sweetbreads meunière with asparagus, lamprey à la bordelaise, macaroonade with porcini mushrooms, bacon and foie gras... The fries are homemade, cooked in duck fat. As for the desserts, they take us back to our childhood memories. An institution!

$$ (30-40 eur per pax)
Was really impressed by this place, both the food as well as the value. Prices were really reasonable with mains at 20+ to 30+ eur on average and starters and desserts were below 20 euros
As for the quality of food, impeccable. Had the duck with pan seared foie gras in foiegras sauce. Utterly delicious. Duck was cooked just nice and so were the pan seared foiegras which melted in your mouth. And the sauce, so tasty it went well with bread or fries as well. We ordered extra foiegras which was not expensive and a huge portion.
Service was also good and staff were attentive and observant.
Desserts were also good, and the canele on the house were generous and very well made
