Would you like to discover the flavors of the South-West's gastronomic heritage? Since 1968, our team has been sourcing the finest local produce to concoct simple, traditional dishes reminiscent of those served by our grandmothers. Chef Franck Audu's seasonal dishes include crunchy sweetbreads meunière with asparagus, lamprey à la bordelaise, macaroonade with porcini mushrooms, bacon and foie gras... The fries are homemade, cooked in duck fat. As for the desserts, they take us back to our childhood memories. An institution!

Je suis venue il y a quelques années et j'en été ravie mais cette fois-ci, quelle deception ... Je viens a ce restaurant incontournable de la cuisine bordelaise et plus largement française pour faire découvrir notre patrimoine culinaire à mon ami étanger et quelle fut ma déception. Le poulet à la cocotte était très dur, le service est assez sommaire, on commande du vin et c'etait expeditif...Alors certes on nous a fait goûter la garbure mais vu le prix hors menu c'etait tellement exagéré vu la qualité peu gastronomique des plats. Je suis vraiment déçue par ce restaurant ....
Need to highlight that it is NOT PER FRIENDLY. They accomodated and made an exception for my small dog, but be warned that they are not allowed contrary to what some review sites say.
A must try in bordeaux.
Will be back again!
