Walnut salad, ribeye served with secret sauce in a Scottish-style restaurant.

Paul Gineste de Saurs launched this restaurant in 1959 in Paris before moving to Bordeaux. The formula is simple: a salad with walnuts, followed by a tender, delicious rib-eye steak weighing around 170 grams, with homemade pommes allumettes and the famous sauce. If you still have a bit of appetite, have dessert. Inside, you'll find the black and tartan wall decor and the lemon yellow that brightens up the tablecloths, menus and waiters' outfits. But be patient, there's always a long queue well before opening time.

Menú único, sencillo, pero rico. Te ponen la carne al punto que quieras y te dejan la mitad en una bandeja para que no se enfríe. Aunque haya cola, va muy rápido. Está muy bien organizado. Buen trato y servicio.

No es un sitio 100% sin gluten, pero solo se come la ensala y la carne con patatas. Por lo tanto, lo que ofrecen en principio es sin gluten. Las patatas son caseras. La carne viene en una salsa (al hablar con los camareros me dijeron que era sin gluten también) que para mí gusto contenía mucho aceite, pero la carne estaba en su punto. El local es muy grande pero las mesas están excesivamente juntas. En general no está mal.
