Domaine Macle is one of the pioneers of organic viticulture in the Jura. It is also a well-established estate, dating back to 1850. Laurent Macle took over the domaine in 1995 and has maintained it as one of Château-Chalon's leading addresses, earning him the nickname of "the pope of yellow wine". 4 ha of the estate's 12 hectares are planted with Savagnin grapes, and the remainder with Chardonnay in the Côtes-du-Jura PDO. Vinification takes place in 16th-century cellars, in oak barrels of course. A very fine house.

Nul personne désagréable qui n a pas voulu nous recevoir malgré un RDV .

Je pense que la pinardiere était tombée dans la cuve où avait fini un macvin. Un accueil inadmissible , à éviter.

Pas d’accueil , nous nous sommes fait jeter comme des chiens par une femme qui nous a semblé avoir fait la dégustation toute seule…

Trois vins tranquilles, tous magnifiques - le Jaune, exceptionnel, un des meilleurs du Jura (pas plus de trois par client fidèle), le Chardonnay-Savagnin mon préféré en 75cl qui sort toujours du lot des non ouillés de la Région et le Chardonnay seul certaines années. Je prends les trois ! Le 'macvin' pour terminer en beauté. De temps en temps, le Crémant répond présent.

Si vous ne voulez pas vendre il faut le dire et ne pas laisser des gens venir de loin pour leur fermer la porte au nez…. lamentable et désolant.
