Welcome to the second agglomeration of the department (9 900 inhabitants) located at the entrance to the Belfort-Montbéliard area, at the border of Doubs and Belfort Territory. Inhabited since prehistoric times, Hericourt, as its name indicates, has long been a border city, at the crossroads of two (Roman and Germanic) worlds, of two religions (Catholic and Protestant). A not miss: The church of St. Christopher, what remains of the castle, the fort of Mount Vaud and the Minal museum. Since 2016, this former textile city has also been home to one of the leather leather shops of the famous Hermès house.
