This village of around 400 inhabitants, located some ten kilometers southwest of Reims, has existed since the 9th century. In 830, Louis Pieux donated the land to the Charroux abbey. At the time, it was called Villa Dominica (Town of the Master). Ville-Dommange, surrounded by vineyards, boasts a pretty park, a cemetery, a 12th-century chapel, a church and a winegrowers' cooperative. The path, known as the Chemin des Grandes Randonnées, takes you around the village in 1h15, with lovely panoramic views over the vineyards.
