A pastry chef by trade from the Périgord region, Roland Manouvrier is a renowned master ice cream maker. He handcrafts ice creams and sorbets with subtle, gourmet flavors, using fruit, flowers and spices. We love his jasmine, rose petal and violet ice creams, his espresso coffee, fleur de sel caramel, marron glacé, Périgord walnut and Périgord strawberry sorbets. No retail sales, but all the ice creams can be sampled in several restaurants and stores in the Périgord Noir.

Ferme Auberge des Genestes is a charming establishment located in Saint-Genies, in the Périgord Noir region. The farm offers both bed & breakfast and a gourmet restaurant. The rooms are air-conditioned and have independent sanitary facilities. The rustic dining room can accommodate up to 45 individuals or 60 groups. Guests can also take advantage of the swimming pool, free parking and free Wi-Fi. Ferme des Genestes is surrounded by fields and forests, offering a peaceful, secluded setting. The farm's owners are passionate about duck cuisine and offer products such as foie gras.

Ferme Minard used to specialize in foie gras production. However, it recently ceased its on-farm duck preserving activity. Despite this, the farm still offers seasonal rental of its gîte.
