Travel Guide Bourdons-Sur-Rognon

The Rognon is a charming river and the walk linking Is-en-Bassigny to Donjeux, following the valley, crosses beautiful landscapes. In particular, the remains of the Cistercian Abbey of La Ridge, founded in 1121, and in particular the Porterie, in the course of restoration, face a beautiful bridge over the Rognon. See also Bumble-sur-Rognon, the church dating back to the th century. To the north-west, in the direction of Andelot, you enjoy strolling in the Crête forest, following the river. To the south, towards Nogent, the road passes to Esnouveaux. In this welcoming village, make the small hook by the D 142, then to the right the D 131, which joins the road in Ageville: There are beautiful views of the valley.
