29 km from Troyes, Chaource is located at the source of the Armance, in the middle of the forest that bears its name. At the limit of Champagne and Burgundy, Chaource owes its notoriety to its cheese. It seems that in the th century Charles le Bel and Margarita de Bourgogne were thirsty.
