Chezelles is located about fifteen kilometers from Châteauroux. The municipality is located in the natural region of Champagne and is watered by the river Trégonce. Chezelles is in the geographical area and in the production area of milk, manufacture and refining of Valençay cheese. It also cultivates the green lentil of Berry, another jewel of local gastronomy. The municipality also has the Bezelles beekeeping area, founded in 1900. Located in the former local school area, the estate celebrated its centenary in 2000.
