This is the patron saint's day of the small village of Santa Agnes. It is at this time that the almond trees blossom, covering the natural basin in which Santa Agnes is located with white. The celebrations include a morning mass, a traditional procession through the streets of the village, a ball pagès in folk costume and a parade of old-fashioned means of transport. Generally, the festival is punctuated by theatrical or musical performances.

On October 20, the streets filled with young people who had come to celebrate this old tradition. During the Revetla de les Verges, the contenders courted the young girls by singing them the serenade. In return, they offered them muscatel and doughnuts. Today, this tradition has lost some of its romanticism (!), but it is a good excuse to celebrate and eat doughnuts.

Every year, the^{1st of} March is the occasion for a great celebration on each of the Balearic Islands. This date corresponds to the date on which the archipelago's autonomous status came into effect, ratified on¹ March 1983. On the occasion of the Día de Baleares, numerous cultural and gastronomic activities punctuate the day in a good-natured atmosphere: traditional dances, theatre, live music and tasting of typical island products are on the programme!
