ARTEDOS OSUNA

Leather Clothing

Impossible to come in Osuna without passing by this temple of the arts and crafts of the leather of Córdoba. Held by Alberto Delgado and Manuel Morillo, this workshop began in 1995 when the two men decided to take again the old workshop of the Master of the kind, Antonio Rodriguez Hidalgo. All leathers are worked with the hand, while following two techniques, the Cordobán and the Guamací, which give to the material a pushed back leather aspect and can be decorated gildings or drawings for most various uses of decoration: cushions, headboards, trunks... for that of houses or hotels but also that of the churches with retables. If you remain with the hotel Put of Judería in Seville, perhaps you will be likely to sleep in the room which they decorated. The discovery of the place will be an enchantment for the eyes but also very instructive since it will enable you to visualize some key stages of the processes of the work of leather.

MAQUEDANO

Hats gloves and scarves specialist

The oldest hat shop in Seville has been located in an Art Deco building designed by José Gómez Millán since 1908. For a long time it was the only hat shop in the city and the first to offer its customers the famous Panama hats. Nowadays, you can still admire their collections, as well as many women's headdresses, recommended for weddings. But we would like to buy some just to leave with the beautiful packages that wrap them. Note on the first floor, the former glass gallery, now a warehouse.
