Not to come to Osuna without going through this temple of handicraft of the leather of Cordoba. Held by Alberto Delgado and Manuel Morillo, this workshop began in 1995 when the two men decided to resume the former workshop of the master of gender, Antonio Rodriguez Hidalgo. All leathers are worked by hand, following two techniques, the Cordobán and the Guamací, which give the material an aspect of repoussé leather and can be packed with gilt or drawings for the widest variety of decorative uses: pillows, bed heads, chests… for that of houses or hotels but also that of churches with altarpieces. If you stay at the Hotel Casas de la Judería in Seville, you may have the chance to sleep in the room they decorated. The discovery of the site will be an enchantment for your eyes but also very informative since it will allow you to visualize some key steps of the leather processes of the leather.
