SILVER BEACH COUNTY PARK
Read moreThe park is located at the junction of the St. Joseph River and Lake Michigan. You can swim on a beautiful white sandy beach or simply watch the waves crash into the city's two lighthouses. In winter, a very surprising spectacle amazes the local population. The outer lighthouse, the one furthest forward from the lake, is covered with ice. Given its position and the wind that whips it, the frozen water redraws this house of light into a spectacular dream sculpture. To see if you're not cautious!
SILVER LAKE STATE PARK
Read moreSituated between Silver Lake and Lake Michigan, the sand dunes occupy more than 800 hectares of a coastline more than 6 km long. There's plenty to do here, including swimming, hiking, fishing, water sports, fatbike riding (in winter) and more, but the star of the park is the ORV Scramble Area. These are the only dunes east of the Mississippi River accessible to these vehicles. The park also features a campground, Silver Lake Modern.

EASTERN MARKET
Read moreCreated in 1891, it is one of the oldest and largest farmers' markets in the country and is even part of the American nation's historical heritage. Many of its merchants have been present there for four generations, nothing less. The people of Detroit are very proud of their market, and we understand them. With its three large hangars, it is full of products from all over Michigan State. A real pleasure for the eyes and taste buds! But Eastern Market is also a district where there are many cafés, bars, restaurants, shops of all kinds and art galleries (including the Red Bull Arts Detroit) and others, thus helping to create a beehive atmosphere in this very nice area. The district is also famous for its many mural frescoes that adorn the walls and it is worth walking around its streets to discover them. An international street art festival is held annually in September, adding new frescoes each year.
