A fine family-run restaurant created by a brother and his two sisters, offering fine local Biel cuisine with a twist. It is affiliated with the Slow Food movement, which favors short circuits. The zucchini flowers served with a parmesan crème brûlée are well worth the detour! The meat is very well cooked. Good wines too. At the back of the restaurant, you can admire the old ovens covered with ^18th-century earthenware tiles. Trendy, uncluttered decor, meticulous presentation and service, and a terrace under the arcades when the weather's mild.

A friendly restaurant-pizzeria in the town center. Its strong point is certainly the beauty of its large ^17th-century brick vaults inside, but in season, the terrace is also very pleasant! The pizza menu is certainly well-stocked and appetizing, but it would be a shame not to try one of the meat dishes or the primi ( risottis , for example), typical of the region, which are well worth a taste. On a pretty square in the center of Asti, in the shadow of the San Martino church, this is an excellent osteria where local cuisine, tinged with flavors from neighboring Liguria, is here perhaps a little better than elsewhere. Among the dishes on the menu, tajarin with sausage sauce, fried anchovies, vitel tonné with tuna sauce and white bunet with Langhe hazelnuts are worth a detour, but everything is absolutely delicious. It's probably the best glacier in Valsesia! Frigidarium has been serving ice creams and sorbets to tourists and regulars since 1949. A slightly retro decor, delicious fragrances (which evolve according to the seasonality of the products, like blueberry, melon or fig in summer) and a good atmosphere. You can even go there to have a drink, a creamy homemade hot chocolate or a coffee and croissant in the morning. You can also buy sweets of all kinds (chocolates, meringues, pies, cakes...).

This enoteca offers paninis, salads and light wraps made with fresh produce, perfect for picnics by the lake, as well as a beautiful collection of local bottles for aesthetes. But it is at aperitivo time that the place takes on its full meaning with its cheerful terrace set in the pedestrian street, its beautiful boards of cold meats and cheeses and the wide choice of wines served by the glass, which allows you to taste several of them. The staff is really nice and attentive.

A large, modern, well-lit space serving a wide selection of pizzas, pastas and risotti, as well as salads, burgers and more elaborate dishes featuring Piedmontese and Ligurian specialties. An impressive choice of wines, mainly from northern Italy, but also beers. It's a bit like Cuneo's cantina, with everyone gathering here for lunch or dinner, but the service is fast and the atmosphere very good. Prices are very reasonable for this quality of cuisine. The only slight negative: it's noisy...

One of the city's historic restaurants, Baracca offers typical Biella dishes in a simple, familiar setting, where yellow dominates. The dishes on offer change according to the day and the season, but certain classics are always on the menu, such as the risotto, which is a must, but also the bagna cauda, or the braised beef(brasato) cooked slowly in Barolo wine. A fine list of Piedmont wines, too. Service is a little slow, but the value for money is well worth the detour.

The restaurant of thisagriturismo has been closed to better dedicate itself to the activities of the farm, beekeeping and mead production in the rules of art. The family business still welcomes guests in contemporary and comfortable rooms, with terraces, garden, wellness area, solarium, spa. And if you spend the night in one of these rooms, the discovery of local products begins at breakfast with a sweet and sour formula, jam, cake, yoghurt and homemade honey, fruits, cold cuts.

A little set back from the lakeside and its tourist traps, it is said that Le Boeuc has been serving drinks to the local bon vivants since the 17th century. And the atmosphere hasn't changed much since then: at the same time cellar, wine bar and bistro, it's in the small room with exposed stones and beams that you'll be served copious plates of cheese, cold meats, bruschettas as well as nourishing soups. And all you have to do is choose one of the many bottles in the cellar. Perfect for an aperitif or a different meal.

This is surely the restaurant with the best view in Turin! Monte dei Cappuccini is located on the hill behind the church of the same name. From its terrace, the panorama embraces the Po and the entire city surrounded by the Alps. What a marvel! On summer evenings, it's a truly magnificent setting! The cuisine is of course Piedmontese-inspired, traditional and, what's more, complies with the Slow Food charter. Pasta and desserts are particularly tasty!

Located on a pretty plot near the church, with a large terrace, the Trattoria offers regional and family dishes at a soft price.

Opened since 1972, Last Tango is not yet in his last dance. Its mountain-style room does not have a cachet with its apparent beams and its chimney fire. Many people are here to taste good, very tender meat; special mention for saignantes beef ribs, viande meat and the Burgundian fondue. Excellent plateau of alpine cheese and a beautiful map of wines that bring to the honour of small traditional producers in Piedmont.

At the entrance to Fenestrelle, here you will find a sire of farm who will surprise you with its surroundings and cuisine. Chalet with typical architecture, the interior of which is surprising by its warm intimacy. The mistress of the house will taste its specialities: homemade meats, pasta and polenta followed by game (especially wild boar). To finish off, don't miss the delicious desserts, including marrons in rum and gofri, local waffles.

New address very much appreciated by Turin in the heart of the city, a few steps from the Egyptian Museum. The atmosphere, the decor, the kitchen, everything is in style in early 1900, as the name indicates. Strange art objects surround you while you're busy eating specialities recipes. Some good primi, tagliatelle at risotto through gnocchi, but the best plan remains the Tigella Menu at 10 € with beautiful charcuterie boards, a plateau of different sauces and a basket of gnocchi fritti (fried bread and hot served). A good address for dinner and aperitif.

On a charming little square near the jetties, this restaurant is a good address. The very flowery entrance, the interior decoration and the bottles of wine on their shelves, the large wooden tables and the cork vine leaves make it a design address, but very casual. There is a choice of 4 to 5 dishes of pasta of the day, or delicious typical dishes. In short, a very good canteen with a very good atmosphere. In the adjoining cellar, you will find magnums of Alba and Monferrato wine, to be tasted on the terrace.

In the heart of the Gulf Borromeo it is a typical, comfortable restaurant with family kitchen and excellent pizzas. You can enjoy breakfast in the garden while admiring the lake.

Warm atmosphere warmed by a rustic decor made of mountain stone walls and a large fireplace, and by the typical cuisine of the region. Fleg is the best takeaway pizza you can find in Turin. The little store is perfectly located in the center of Via Po, near the main points of interest in the city. The Neapolitan tradition of pizza is sublimated and there are several options of pizzas al taglio, that is to say to the size, calzones, but also Neapolitan fried. Everything is made with quality ingredients from Campania. To accompany it, excellent craft beers because in Italy, you never drink wine with your pizza, but beer!
