This address in the Vomero district was born from the desire of Benny Galasso, an architect-designer, to create a club in Naples resolutely inspired by the latest clubbing fashions that he had observed in Florida. The modern setting has a chic minimalist and oriental touch, with sinuous couches, a shell-shaped bar and a lot of work on the lights. See also the amazing tropical aquarium, with its exotic fish. As for the music, the atmosphere is chill-out, bossa-nova and jazzy. In short, a very trendy plan.

Nothing overrated in this café. Just a stone's throw from the Piazzetta del Nilo, the place concentrates a bit of the Neapolitan soul and is also home to the relics of one of Naples' deities: Maradona. The owner has in fact dedicated an altar to him with a hair of the certified authentic player! Since then, tourists from all over the world have been coming here to have their pictures taken; it can be said that the football star is making a serious competition with San Gennaro, the patron saint of Naples! The setting may be sketchy, but the flavour of the coffee is enough in itself.

African dye, parasols hiding sight on the castle, reserved for tables at the end of the terrace. R 'n' B music mainly, pop and rock 'n' roll. The Mar. Sal is mostly frequented by tourists, and just has the advantage of being open late in August, when all the other bars in the city are closed. In winter, the nightlife of the place has little interest.

In the heart of an elegant street in the Chiaia district, this is the most popular club for the Neapolitan golden youth. La Mela was founded in 1967 in Via dei Mille and since then it has constantly reinvented itself, adapting to new clubbing trends. Maradona, Naomi Campbell, Claudia Cardinale, Giorgio Armani are just some of the celebrities who have graced its dance floor. The place has a rather flashy, "I've seen it all" feel to it, with a rather young, preppy clientele and loud electro-house music.

Located near the Parc park. One of Naples'biggest discos with three rooms and three different atmospheres.

Near Piazza del Gesù Nuovo. One of the clubs of the moment, where the alternative young and Neapolitan students, always ready to prolong the night, punisher until late on techno-hip-hop mixes.

Located in the chic Chiaia district. Joyce alterne between hip-hop, funk and soul. Again, youth a POSHER hair but it is always fun to immerse itself in the atmosphere.

In the Vomero district, this small jazz club is undoubtedly the most famous in the city. It has been the venue for some of the biggest European and North American stars who have come to Naples. The music is always of high quality, the staff is very friendly and the service is fast. If it is possible to eat here, we advise you to limit yourself to a drink and to dine in one of the restaurants in the neighbourhood... Finally, for certain evenings, it is preferable to make a reservation, as the premises are relatively small.

A historic club in Sorrento, the Fauno has been a meeting place for the party people of the Amalfi Coast since the 1950s, as well as for the many Italian and international tourists who come here in search of a night of escape and entertainment. Celebrities of all kinds have spent their evenings here. A reference to Sorrento for dancing and sipping a cocktail. The counter you see today is the result of the 2012 renovation by the Beppe Riboli studio, a reference in the world of nightclub design.

The bar-restaurant Da Cocò, ideally situated at the foot of the Aragonese castle, is open from morning to night and is pleasant at any time of the day. From here it is also possible to go to a small, charming and little frequented beach, the spiaggia di Cartaromana. In summer, taxi-boats usually charge €5 per person for a return trip to take you there. There are deckchairs, sunbeds and a small snack bar to make the most of this beach. It is only accessible by boat and therefore often peaceful.

Located in the San Michele hotel, this bar has a lot of style: the address is versatile and can be transformed into a restaurant, a wine bar and a nightclub. It also regularly hosts private events (weddings, birthdays...). In a modern cellar with dark parquet flooring, lit by fluorescent lights, starry ceilings and music are on the programme, with concerts, DJ sets, a piano bar or a karaoke evening. The huge bay window offers a splendid view of the island and the Gulf of Naples. A "hype" address with a festive atmosphere.

Despite its name, this small bar located at the very top of Positano, at the first stop of the buses coming from Sorrento, is very local. Italians like to meet there for a coffee or a beer with a pastry or a snack. They have a front row seat to watch the constant flow of travellers. Cars brush past them. The television broadcasts football matches. A stopover is highly recommended for those arriving in Positano by road, to take the time to marvel at the view while sipping an espresso.

A chic tavern, dedicated to music, with many trompe-l'oeil paintings. Guido, the popular singer and master of the place, with his guitar, his good mood, his flowered shirts and his communicative energy, sets the place on fire. He plays classic Italian and Neapolitan tunes. For a few years now, he has been assisted by his son Gianluigi, who has helped to rejuvenate the tavern's clientele and open it up to new horizons. No dress code, the place is open to all... but it is still quite stuffy!

With its curious facade of twisted pillars decorated with blue ceramic scales, Bar Sirena does not go unnoticed. But its indisputable asset is its terrace overlooking the beach, on the other side of the street. What a pleasure it is to lounge in the shade of the umbrella pines while sipping a strong espresso or an Amalfi spritz (made with limoncello and lemon sorbet)! The establishment also offers paninis, pizzas and a snack service. Prices are quite reasonable for Amalfi and for the location.

Strategically located along the Corso, Salerno's main thoroughfare, this bar is a welcome stop at any time of the day or night, from breakfast with an espresso to a snack or an aperitif. The long room is decorated with a series of brick arches, high ceilings, large mirrors and comfortable velvet chairs. At aperitivo time, the terrace is crowded and the well-served cocktails are accompanied by pizzette, foccacine and puff pastries.

Change of atmosphere in this Italian-Arab bar, oriental decoration and music with Persian carpets and arabesque mirrors. It is very frequented by the students of the district, who like to smoke chicha there. Relaxed atmosphere for a relaxing moment in Piazza Bellini. The bar also offers small oriental dishes such as couscous, falafels or maqluba, a Palestinian dish (a mixture of rice, chicken and eggplant). The Caffè Arabo offers slightly better prices than the bars around the square.

The black goose sign is located in a street adjacent to Piazza Vanvitelli, in the Vomero district. This Irish pub has for credo "Life is too short to drink bad beers"! Promise kept, there is a nice selection of beers, Irish classics like Guinness or Kilkenny, but also Italian or Belgian brands. The pub also serves hamburgers. Beware: the service is charged at 15%, no need to bring a tip! An advice, arrive early in the evening, because the place is often crowded.

The Alaska Pub has several rooms, including two main areas, the ristopub and the cocktail bar. The latter is located just after the entrance, you won't be able to miss it with its imposing 6 m long oak counter. Just behind it, the barmen are eager to advise you on their best cocktails and spirits, as the list is long. Ideal for an aperitif or a drink in the evening, but you can also sit down for a sandwich or a hamburger with certified meat from non-intensive farms.

Classical plays, contemporary performances and lyrical shows are in the spotlight in this reference theatre in Naples. Inaugurated in 1864, the theatre was devastated by fire five years later. Once restored in 1878, the first performance given there was an opera by Bellini. Note the façade decorated with busts of Neapolitan musicians (Scarlatti, Pergolesi). The horseshoe-shaped interior houses the dressing rooms on six levels one on top of the other. The fresco on the vault, The Triumph of Music, pays homage to Bellini.

This wine bar and restaurant offers a wide and interesting selection of vintages from all over Italy by the glass and bottle. It's mostly frequented by Neapolitans, who know this rather discreet address despite its proximity to the Piazza dei Martiri. Just a stone's throw from the baretti area, the Chiaia district with its many bars and movida nightlife (on either side of via Alabardieri and via Belledonne), Vinarium is a pleasant prelude to or end to an evening out.

If you arrive at the central station of Naples and feel the need for a coffee, you should stop at Bar Mexico. Located in the square of the station, it is easy to spot thanks to its original orange-colored front. This mythical café, open since 1948, serves 100% Neapolitan espresso . In the narrow premises in front of the port of Acciaroli, Dom Florigi was the first, in the 1990s, to sell the wines of Cilento and to encourage the development of winegrowing in its region. Today, the company is still renowned for the quality and diversity of the wines it offers. At aperitif time, you can enjoy a glass of wine with stuzzichini, facing the boats gently rocking along the pier. The establishment also offers small meals (salads, pasta) if you wish to prolong the pleasure.

Pleasant terrace on the seafront, with white tables and blue chairs in the shade of parasols and olive trees. Here you can enjoy the gentle Cilento way of life at any time of day. In the morning, you can accompany your espresso or cappuccino with a brioche. At cocktail time, you can sip a glass of wine or a cocktail with marinated anchovies and crostoni with mozzarella di bufala. In the evening, you can sit down to taste their fish and seafood dishes and, on occasion, enjoy a musical concert.

Next to the Central funicular station that connects the Vomero to Via Toledo, on a small square. This theatre, created in the 1920s, offers an interesting and varied programme throughout the year, ranging from classical plays, musicals, operas and ballets to concerts by local singers accompanied by a fine orchestra. Internationally renowned personalities have performed here: Bruce Springsteen and Pat Metheny, or, in another style, the illusionist Arturo Brachetti.

Nice little bar in an alley parallel to the main corso, with a festive atmosphere. Shots of all colors, for all tastes, and funny syringes filled with a gelatinous magic potion to start the evening. To conclude, karaoke is available every night and a Beer Bike ride is offered to the more sporty ones! Open since 2014, Shot Bar is already a favorite bar for young people from all walks of life passing through Sorrento, as evidenced by the flags on the walls that customers have given to Vincenzo, the owner.

What could be more pleasant than a good Italian espresso to start the day? A good espresso on the terrace facing the elegant Piazza Dante! In this mythical café, open since 1953, they serve a 100% Neapolitan coffee, zuccherato (sweet) or amaro (without sugar), which can also be enjoyed at the counter in a picturesque 1950s-style setting. Some Neapolitan pastries and pastries will fill a small hunger. The hot chocolate is also excellent. The establishment has another address, Piazza Garibaldi 72 (next to the train station).

Located in the university district, just a stone's throw from the Federico II University, Mamamu is a nightlife venue that above all offers live music covering all musical styles: indie-rock, jazz, folk, rock... DJ sets are organized here from time to time, as well as exhibitions... and broadcasts of Neapolitan soccer team matches! The local fauna is made up of students, but also of people who like to listen to good music. The atmosphere is always lively and friendly, and the bar offers beers and cocktails.

With its twenty automatic lanes, Oltremare Bowling is one of the leading bowling centres in the region. Competitions are organised several times a week and on Friday and Saturday nights there is a disco atmosphere with dancing music and light shows. Those who like to vary the pleasures can also practice other activities: air soft gun, billiards, paintball, video games, lunapark, 5D cinema... Located on the heights of Agropoli, this disco, which can accommodate up to 4,000 people, is one of the most famous in southern Italy. It has been in operation for over thirty years, and every year its opening marks the beginning of the summer party season in Cilento. Each room has its own style of music and light show. The highlight of the show is the dance floor on the terrace, which offers a breathtaking view of the Gulf of Salerno. In short, if you're in the mood for some music on your holiday, this is the place to be!

Wine bar with an elegant and modern setting, located on the seafront. It offers a good selection of regional and Italian wines as well as excellent cocktails and craft beers. At aperitif time, opt for a cheese and charcuterie platter to accompany your drink. The establishment is also a restaurant and specialises in grilled chianina meat, a Tuscan breed of cattle. The gourmet burgers are filled with quality ingredients (try the burrata burger, for example).

The NeroCafè bar is located just a few steps from the central square of Agropoli, in the modern part of the city center. At breakfast and during the day, it's perfect for a coffee and a pastry. At lunchtime and in the evening, it'saperitivo: the counter is overrun with trays of toast, puff pastries, rolls, mini-pizzas and all kinds of appetizers, from which the waiter picks to compose generous plates to accompany the drink of your choice. And all this for the price of your drink: a good plan for small budgets!

As its name suggests, this bar invites us to waste our time having a drink, reading a book and listening to music. Very good atmosphere of the bohemian youth of Piazza Bellini who do not take their heads. It is also a good place to forget the frenetic bustle of the streets of Naples, as their slogan says "down with the infernal cadences". On some evenings, the bar also offers DJ sets. In front of the music conservatory, windows from which escape, from time to time, a few piano notes.

Located in the former cloister of the Santa Caterina a Formiello church, converted into a textile factory in the days of the Bourbons. In its 700 m² space, the Lanificio25 collective offers a bar with snacks and cultural events of all kinds: contemporary art exhibitions, concerts, theater, dance, debates... The aim is to create a place where culture and art blend with entertainment. The industrial architecture of the place is very suggestive. Enjoy cocktails, wines and smoothies in the large inner courtyard.

During the day, the Arenile is a popular bathing establishment in the Bagnoli district, with a sandy beach, two swimming pools, bars and a restaurant. In the evening, the place turns into a large open-air disco, facing the Gulf of Naples. Concerts are sometimes organized there: for example, the Arenile stage has hosted internationally renowned artists such as Patty Smith, Snoop Dogg, Sean Paul, George Benson, Daddy Yankee... Musical brunches and aperitivi are regular features of the programme.
