Created in 1975, the International Comics Festival of Chambéry is the^second oldest festival of its kind in France after Angoulême. 20,000 visitors, 60 authors and three days of celebration... It welcomes artists of great notoriety, also reveals talents and makes the happiness of a public that rushes to meet cartoonists and scriptwriters and to shop. The elephant, symbol of the city, always appears on the poster entrusted each year to a different artist.

Organized by the city of Saint-Étienne, Festi'Mômes are shows for young audiences from the age of 7. They take place one Sunday a month, from September to December, in the Jeanne d'Arc room, near Place Chavanelle. At an attractive price (1 euro per seat per person), families can attend a quality cultural performance: circus, acrobatic and musical theatre, magic, art of illusion... The opportunity to discover enchanting shows that will delight young and old alike. The artists perform twice (11am and 3pm) on the Sundays concerned (generally the last Sunday of the month). A beautiful initiative allowing access to culture for all.

The 11 th edition of Pérouges Spring will take place from May 26 th to June 25 th. The festival Spring de Pérouges-Plaine de l'Ain was born in October 1996. Its main objective was the valorisation and animation of the heritage sites of the city, including the medieval city of Pérouges, but also other prestigious sites such as some private castles in the vicinity of Pérouges, the Priory of Blyes, etc. The festival also brings an original value for industrial sites. Concerts were held at the TGV train STATION of Lyon Saint-Exupéry, the Boules de Saint-Vulbas, the Mill gin… A mix of rhythm and places to honour music.

Like John... like who? John? Why John? Why John? Maybe they'll tell you that at a concert. They, because Like John it is a duo: Claire and Gaëlle, composers, authors, singers, musicians. On stage, they accompany their voices on the flute, cello and other strings and electronic rhythms. Their music and lyrics bounce like light and acidic bubbles of life that we cross with joy, while leaving a small place for a sweet melancholy. The pep of the duo and their incisive and always welcome humour plunge the spectator into their universe. A beautiful French/English pop that makes you want to see them and see them again.

A flagship event for lovers of Romantic music in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region since 1979, the Berlioz Festival makes La Côte-Saint-André shine every August. Prestigious orchestras, renowned conductors and soloists come to perform the major works of the Romantic repertoire. Under the demanding direction of Bruno Messina, this national and international event cultivates an exceptional program. From Sir John Eliot Gardiner to François-Xavier Roth and Hervé Niquet, the greatest artists have forged a unique bond with this exceptional venue. In short, it's a grand symphonic experience.

This festival that takes place every year in July transforms, during two days of free festivities, Rochetaillée in a small Celtic city. Concerts of Celtic music, animation, sale of handicraft and local products hurdles the festival.

Begun in 1980 at the instigation of the Art and Music Association, the Music Festival of Ambronay wins every year. Based on a repertoire based on ancient and baroque music from the th to the th century on instruments of the th century, the festival takes place in September and October in an optional framework such as the Ambronay Abbey or the Parlement Parliament (some representations also at the Maurice Ravel Auditorium in Lyon). The scene of the village hosts live concerts every day, and the young public is not forgotten, while the Saint-Théofrède church with ideal acoustics is perfect for chamber music training and large staff (orchestras, large ensembles of copper). Avenue Laurent-Eynac, La Brass Room hosts concerts, jam-sessions every night at 11:00 p. m. It is the rendez-vous of improvisers who play in the true spirit of a jazz club.

Notice to film lovers! Created in 2010, this film festival honors a country each year (Spain in 2023, the USA in 2020, Iran in 2016...). During two weeks, the public can discover more than 70 films projected in various places of the Country of Issoire (Issoire, Apchat, Brassac-les-Mines...). Some films are shown for the first time in France, Europe or even the world! Master class and animations for children also punctuate the week.

Because Lyonnais and visitors alike forget that Lyon is a city of water, crossed by two great rivers, the Rhône and the Saône, the City of Lyon has put water at the center of a festival. At the beginning of July, the second edition will take place - the first having been a real success - of an event with a particularly rich program, with numerous free outdoor activities for all publics. Look out for the famous Mâchecroute, a sea monster, returning to the waters of the Rhône near the Guillotière bridge!

Overheating of the zygomatic in sight: funny, funny, hilarious with the best of the national comedy scene in the program. The festival "Culture dans tous les sens" is supported by the Clermont-Ferrand association Lee Voirien. This event aims to promote the artistic and cultural production of disabled and non-disabled people in Auvergne. Thus, it favors the mix of the public by considering them as actors, as artists, bringing their creativity, their universe. Music, theater, storytelling, exhibitions, short films, escape games, blindfolded snacks, and many other highlights are on the program of this cultural event.

Rendez-vous rock'n roll and rockabilly fans, Good '' Tonight festival celebrates 10 years in 2012. Jack Scott, Sleepy La Beef, Hayden Thompson, Sonny West & Tommy Allsup, Johnny Farina… For the occasion, it spans five days and hosts a dozen artists and singers in the United States, including five pioneers of the 1950 s, as well as about twenty French and European groups. The public, faithful, comes from across the country, but also from Holland, Germany or Italy.
