It is not a festival but a beautiful meeting of cinephiles and filmmakers around the screening of dozens of films.
These meetings are organized since 1999, by the Maison de l'image of Aubenas. No competition, but a spotlight on films made and produced in Europe that are not widely publicized. The festival is structured around 5 sections: Panorama of the European Cinema of the year, Tributes-Retrospective, Heritage Films, The Focus, Young Audience Section. Meetings with directors every day. The new cinema of Le Navire offers a beautiful setting for these meetings.

La ville d'Aubenas possède 2 salles de cinémas, le Navire (plutôt Art & Essais) et le Palace (plutôt Grand Public) qui offrent toute l'année une programmation très riche et de qualité en plus du festival Européen qui se tient chaque année en novembre. Une aubaine pour les cinéphiles surtout dans une ville de la taille d'Aubenas. Possibilité de prendre une carte d'abonnement valable un an pour bénéficier de tarifs avantageux. Les salles sont vieillottes et petites mais la programmation fait oublier le manque de confort...
