Gourmet festivals Provence-Alpes-Côte D'Azur

Organised by the association Les Amis du Four du Mitan, this animation celebrates bread, with demonstration of wheat pressing, blessing of breads, tastings and sales of local products, Provençal meals, in a mood of the beginning of the century, with groups of traditional costumes.

At the initiative of the Fédération des Syndicats de producteurs de l'appellation Châteauneuf-du-Pape, this wine fair is organised every spring in April. Les Compagnons des Côtes du Rhône: a popular festival to mark the opening of the grape harvest, organized by the Compagnons des Côtes du Rhône. There's plenty of entertainment for young and old alike, with a parade of Confréries, a harvest mass, harvesting of the Popes' vineyard planted at Rochers des Doms, Côtes du Rhône tastings, and the sale of a wide range of local produce in conjunction with Les Halles d'Avignon.
