Les Compagnons des Côtes du Rhône: a popular festival to mark the opening of the grape harvest, organized by the Compagnons des Côtes du Rhône. There's plenty of entertainment for young and old alike, with a parade of Confréries, a harvest mass, harvesting of the Popes' vineyard planted on the Rocher des Doms, Côtes du Rhône tastings, and sales of a wide range of local produce in conjunction with Les Halles d'Avignon. All this followed by a large picnic and a popular ball. Have fun, but always in moderation!
