It's the trendy little brother of Morrison's Pub. The atmosphere is different, but just as festive. In summer, you'll be more likely to settle down on the terrace, which is as crowded and festive as you could wish. The clientele, essentially composed of thirty and forty year olds, has been meeting there for several years now. They are both regular Hyèrois as well as tourists on the go. This cafe-bar-restaurant surmounted by a clock, which makes the corner between the course of Estienne-d'Orves and the rue Breteils, has a beautiful terrace that attracts a fairly eclectic clientele. You can also install inside, but beware, there are not many places. Since its opening in 2013, the owners (of the café opposite, The Pointu) have been able to renew the place and its kitchen. In addition to having a drink (an antifungal cocktail, a mojito, or a glass of wine - the original card, which is also to be discovered inside the bistro!), you can eat it (tapas, pork plates) or eat it more consistently, and very well: tender and bone bones, seven-hour roasted lamb and vegetables, or the famous slut salad with its gizzards and poultry livers. Here is a brand new bar, to discover for its friendliness and charm. The Zanzi'bar is ideally placed on the wharf of the beautiful port of Saint-Mandrier, with a pleasant terrace on the edge of the waves. The interior has been completely renovated with a sleek, modern plant with ethnic touches, a light bar (changing colour), white rhino heads, exposed stones and beams, small tables and benches. Here you will be joined by the end of the afternoon to refresh yourself, then at the time of aperitif, or for a moment of relaxation thanks to a wide range of drinks. We love original syrups (papa, kiwi, watermelon, etc.), the famous Gambetta (very famous in the south!), and all the classic drinks.

A popular lounge bar for Des as well as summer tourists. You can settle there at the end of the day to sip a cocktail or a glass of rosé (Mediterranean tradition) at the end of the day, sharing with friends one of the pizzas proposed to the map (the white one has won us especially), leaving the vast terrace with the trendy lighting to reach the dining room, and finally return to the outside atmosphere. chic and casual that has since taken possession of the places. In the immediate vicinity of the Almanarre without a direct access, La Mandra organizes several occasions in summer special evenings. Opening and closing are must: correct dress that is amply recommended!

For a cold beer, a good plate of cold cuts or cheese, or a simple coffee break, Les Distilleries Idéales is worth a visit. Located in the old town of Nice, it is both a lounge and a tasting counter that takes us back a few centuries. The decoration is magnificent, in the old style, mixing copper metal and woodwork, in a pleasant atmosphere. A real bistro, with a chic style, from another time. On our side, we loved to settle down upstairs, to observe the decoration of the bar.

La Compagnie des chats is a restaurant-café-teahouse for cats. The decor is cool, with exposed stonework, a climbing wall for felines and comfortable sofas. Kittens wander around the different areas: here, everything is allowed except access to the kitchen. The health and safety standards are very strict, and Compagnie des Chats has been awarded top marks. Cats entrusted to us by animal protection associations are available for adoption. If you like these cute little felines, their presence at the table will be most agreeable!

In this neighbourhood bistro in La Plaine, there's no fuss: you simply come to drink a cup, chat with friends, listen to live music in the evening when a concert is scheduled... The decor is sober, even atypical, with this reproduction of the "Last Supper". On the music side, behind the small stage, Brassens, Brel and Ferré are at home here and rub shoulders with some jazzy flights of fancy ... For a long time called "Chez Hassan", this bar has however had a new owner for a few years now. He regularly organises concerts with local artists. This bar is anchored in the popular culture of Marseille and is notably quoted in the famous Marseille trilogy of Izzo.

An old carterie transformed into a delightful tea room, creperie and bakery at a time. A decor that refers to the world of cinema in tribute to the great actors who stayed in Saint Paul. The establishment was taken over 2 years ago by two managers who kept the same formula. In the morning, we stop to buy bread and drink coffee. At noon, you can enjoy a beautiful salad, a dish of the day, a salty pie or a pancake. In the afternoon, tea time with a "Dammann Frères" teas (30 varieties for tasting and for sale). Whatever the time of the day, a small gourmet break is always very pleasant.

Right at the entrance to Vieux-Nice, on the edge of the Place du Palais de Justice, this is one of Nice's must-visit establishments at any time of day. From tea tasting, to aperitif time when you enjoy a good fruit cocktail accompanied by complimentary tapas, and later when the place transforms into a nightclub, the party's in full swing and the prices are sweet. Known for its 80s-style Thursday nights, the atmosphere remains convivial and danceable, with talented bands and DJs performing.

This café is the original heart of the village. Don't hesitate to go through its austere facade, behind which you can see the small terrace that opens onto the valley. In the room, the regulars and, in season, many tourists: the seats are very popular and few. The terrace is small, but it offers a fantastic view that will leave you with a radiant memory of the Luberon and its conviviality. You enter the bar by a long and elegant bar where the staff is ready to serve you beers, spirits and other cocktails. At the back, a small room constitutes the dancefloor, often warm and lively atmosphere, djs with various influences and good sound installation. The audience is young, friendly and relaxed. In the early evening, happy hour allows you to have an aperitif on the small terrace in front of the bar. Nice staff and security, all you have to do is let yourself go

Welcome to Black Bird Coffee, one of the city's best coffee shops (our favorite). The decor is cosy and modern, with big leather armchairs, shelves of books and pretty hanging plants. Eugénie takes care of the cooking: carrot cakes, homemade fondant cookies, banana bread... On weekends, you'll flock here for a delicious brunch featuring a savoury platter and an all-you-can-eat sweet buffet (remember to make reservations). The best in town, in our opinion. At lunchtime, there's a slate of suggestions. Lovely welcome.

The club Jean Roch, the first in a long list, is one of the high places of the nights tropéziennes, where you can eat with the sound of a disk jockey, then dance on a music "house" until dawn, mixed by famous DJS, accompanied by star of international renown.

Halfway between a bar and a bistro, this Taverne-concert opened in the rue des Porches at the end of 2015. Since then, Régine and Dimitri have been welcoming Hyères residents and tourists for an epicurean experience, discovering a fine selection of wines, beers and whiskies in particular. Set up on the Promenade des Anglais, this gin den is already attracting a clientele of regulars. London Dry, floral or aromatic, find no less than 150 gins from all over the world accompanied by more than 10 different tonics to be tasted with a plate of Pata Negra Puro de Bellota, a delight! An address that lacks neither pep nor creativity, to be visited without moderation!

Here's a hidden address, as smart as we like them. The owner, a local beverage wholesaler, recently opened this small café in the heart of old Antibes. In a cosy atmosphere, he will introduce you, with a smile, to a wide selection of coffees and teas from all over the world, to enjoy on the spot or to take away. Lovers of artist-brewed beers can also unearth some pretty artisanal finds, and whisky enthusiasts will find wonders from all over the world. A microbrewery is also located here.

Opposite the Jardin Albert^1er, the BrewDog is a beer bar specialized in IPA beer. It offers a wide choice, you will easily find your happiness among its many references. Ideal to relax for an aperitif between friends. You have the possibility of tasting burgers and salads with many vegan proposals to leave nobody on the floor.

The Brewdog proposes 2 theme days per week the VeganMondays and the Wings Wednesday. Good beers and good burgers, here is the recipe for a successful end of day.

Our favorite. Le Deli' is the perfect place to take a break before climbing the Botanical Gardens. Tucked away in a tree-lined alleyway, this salad bar - as it calls itself - offers hot and cold drinks, a glass of wine or a mug of beer, all sheltered from the sun. For gourmets, salads, pizzas, cheese and charcuterie platters, sandwiches, breakfast, desserts and regional specialties such as pissaladière or pan bagnat. The oils and vinegars used are available for retail sale. The welcome is charming and the prices very reasonable.

Located in the old town, but far from the hustle and bustle of the tourist trade, this cocktail club is an invitation to calm and relaxation. As the team here so aptly sums up, here, palace bartenders offer their expertise in a street-side establishment! Although the decor is very cosy, in summer we especially appreciate the small square in front of which the tables are spread, and where we can enjoy a few tapas to accompany our cocktail.

A cocooning and bohemian atmosphere for this atypical space recently located in a small street at the top of the Cours Sextius. It is at the bottom that everything happens: in the double vaulted cellar whitewashed with lime. Inside courtyard style of a bastide for the restaurant part: patinated shutters, bistro chairs and tables, linen benches. Mediterranean atmosphere for the other part: indigo blue walls, cushions and coloured benches. It is a quiet place, conducive to relaxation and conviviality. Board games are available as well as books in the library area. Electric sockets and Wifi access allow you to surf the net. You can enjoy refined teas, herbal teas, Colombian coffee and snack on a cake. A fun, young and friendly atmosphere.

In the charming little streets of old Nice, you'll find a long-established institution for beer lovers: Au Fût et à mesure. This franchise offers an innovative concept where you can be your own bartender. Each table has a different beer, and the idea is to serve yourself the quantity you want. Payment is made by placing a card on the table, with a price per liter. There's something for every taste: blond, dark, fruity and beers of the moment. Charcuterie and cheese boards are also available.

In just a few years, My Beers has become the essential beer bar (with more than 400 references, enough to satisfy all the thirsty). Here, no fuss, you can meet friends, colleagues and family to share a good time in a friendly atmosphere. We come here to relax at the end of the day or to have fun during the numerous theme parties organized all year long! Finally, the place has a giant screen and broadcasts some sports events. In short, it's an ideal place for happy foam drinkers!

Ma Nolan's is an Irish pub with a jovial atmosphere and an early 20th century decor. This is where the Anglo-Saxon community meets to listen to pop-rock music and sip a whiskey, a cocktail or a good Irish beer. From 12pm to 11pm, a full menu offers starters, main courses and desserts. The biggest sporting events are broadcast live and bands play every night of the week from 10pm.

At the entrance to the port, this traditional pub with its long bar and high stools, wooden interior, poster-painted walls, shelves full of whisky bottles and long beer and cider list has a pop-rock-folk atmosphere. On match or live music nights, the pub comes alive. If you're looking for a more relaxed dining experience, the terrace with its bistro tables is just as pleasant in summer as it is in winter, where you can order generous salads, burgers or tapas. A friendly, relaxed atmosphere for a good time guaranteed!

When the 3 Devils open the doors of their kingdom, a warm wind blows on the Cours Saleya. On the first floor, on the beautiful terrace or in the small room located upstairs, the atmosphere is festive and friendly for wild parties until the middle of the night. If the decoration is rather minimalist, with brick walls which give to this establishment a dark and muffled atmosphere, a few drinks are enough to relax the guests, on a well rhythmed sound background or during one of the thematic evenings. A great place to party!

Now open all week to satisfy both karaoke fans and those who simply want to relax with a good beer, as the Coco is also a bar. All kinds of drinks up to the desired spirits and cocktails are offered (quite expensive though). Before "karaoker", eat a good ice or a good crepe to give you voice energy. Note that the establishment has a stock of 40 000 titles mainly focused on the international varieties category. Just across from the sea, Coco Bongo adds to a lively (but relaxing) atmosphere with a relaxing cocktail with a cocktail in front of the Great Blue moss.

You can sunbathe there in summer and winter. It is one of the best places to have breakfast on the terrace. Traditional drinks menu and small kitchen all day, very practical.

Resto, bar, cocktails, wine, coffee; Papaya is a precious mixture of all these good things! The reception is jovial, the atypical decoration, in the image of this amazing wall wall, and the card, traditional with accents from elsewhere - sometimes Mexicans, sometimes Thai, sometimes Italian - is also a great success! Among friends, choose why not for one of the options proposed in the aperitif tapas: shellfish and seafood under the title "Fritto Misto", fondue goat adjacent, or Asian crispy plate. If not, à la carte, swordfish tartar just pan, carry chicken, whole duck magret in orange honey and spices and other tapas del Gringo. In summer Salsa evenings give the place a nice caliente atmosphere.

Opposite the Bonnard museum, this charming tea and chocolate shop caters for both sweet and savoury cravings. On the terrace or in the cosy interior room (beige and chocolate-coloured benches), you come here to taste all sorts of delicacies: pastries and sweets (macaroons, pastries...) accompanied by a homemade hot chocolate or a grand cru tea (the choice is vast) for breakfast or a snack, pies, pastas or mixed salads for lunch. You can also let yourself be tempted by the chocolate shop window.

The concept is really nice. My Beers is the ideal place to meet up with friends or colleagues after work. In a very stylish decor (red walls, wooden bar and barrels as tables), you can sip no less than 400 different beers! Lovers of brown, blonde or red beers will be won over! From the prestigious Dark Island from Scotland to the more classic Guiness, you are bound to find what you are looking for. What's more, the draught beers change every 3 weeks: no time to get bored!
