Carry Nation could be the name of a subway station. But it was that of an anti-alcoholic activist that destroyed bars at the time of Prohibition in America in the 1920 s. Surprise, not? It is paradoxically in his honour that this speakeasy bar - to understand "clandestine where one could speak freely" - opened its doors in 2011, behind the storefront of a souvenir shop. Do not think of buying an unforgettable bibelot from Marseille or a bottle of pastis to take here. Après inscription sur le site du bar, vous recevrez l'adresse et le code d'accès. Vous pourrez alors voyager dans le temps et vous retrouver dans un cadre cozy en pleine prohibition. Tout y est : originalité, cadre exceptionnel, les serveurs sont de véritables experts en mixologie. Selon le programme du moment, vous aurez l'occasion de découvrir des cocktails fumés, de grands classiques marseillais revisités, des soirées thématiques autour du rhum, du whisky ou du gin... Bref, on a plaisir à y revenir malgré l'addition un peu salée (bien compensée par la qualité de l'expérience.
