Anchored since 1986, in the heart of the Landes pine forest and on the edge of the ocean, this magnificent 27-hole golf course, designed by Robert Trent Jones, covers 84 hectares. Ranked 85th best course in the world by Golf Digest (outside the USA), the complex also includes: an international 18-hole "forest and ocean" course, a 9-hole "airial" course, a 30-station driving range (10 of which are covered), three putting greens and two practice bunkers on the Club-House driving range. Professionals or amateur players rub shoulders every day on this Aquitaine course.

You can choose between a 9-hole "Les Grands Lacs" course (Par 32, 2,172 m) and an 18-hole "Forêt & Océan" course (Par 71, 5,674 m). The driving range features twenty-five stations, seven of which are covered. So it's a real pleasure for golf lovers to be here in the heart of the Landes forest, close to Biscarrosse lake. Eysines's municipal swimming pool is located in the Pinsan area in an appreciable setting with beautiful sunbathing lawns. The building that houses the Judaïque pool dates from 1936. Restructured and renovated in 1996 and again in 2011, it is classified as a historical monument. This is the Sunday exit of the. The lake is very nice in all seasons and there is a car, a large car park, or a lot more on foot by a steep slope down from the Marchadial d'B square. The forest next to the lake has a playful health course and through wood walks you will forget the stress of the work and the city. Here you can enjoy volleyball or bowls and fishing. Between Haute-Soule and Basse-Navarre, in the heart of the Iraty forest, this pass rises to an altitude of 1,283 m. One of the 3 main sites in Europe, it is "inhabited" by birdwatchers, whether migration specialists or simple amateur enthusiasts, who you'll find on your way from July 15 to November 15. With its lake, the leisure centre occupies the whole family. Designed by Arnaud Massy, John Morrison and Charles Bouhana in 1927, the Golf of Hossegor was created in the middle of a pine and cork oak forest, on a sandy ground sheltered from the winds. With a typically British layout refined by Cabell Robinson in 2003, Hossegor is listed as one of the one thousand best golf courses in the world by the Rolex Book. Shorts, tank tops and jeans with holes in them are prohibited. Gentlemen are also asked to remove their caps or hats inside the clubhouse. The restaurant is open for lunch and dinner in summer.

Le Carrousel Aquitain is an equestrian center and pony club offering a variety of services for riding enthusiasts. On a 4-hectare site, you'll find an enclosed stable with wooden boxes, an Olympic arena and a 40/20m riding arena. The pony club welcomes children aged 3 to 6 for group lessons on shetland ponies, while the riding center offers group lessons for beginners and advanced riders, for teenagers and adults. In the heart of the superb oak forest of Bastard, 3 kilometers of adventure await you! 12 courses, imagined and designed to delight everyone, from the youngest from 3 years old to thrill seekers. All the courses have a clever system of two karabiners, one of which cannot be unhooked. The best conditions are assured with the help of adorable and qualified supervisors. Among the sensational "workshops", we must mention the two most difficult (the bear and the owl) with Tarzan jumps, very high monkey bridges and stairs made of logs that can be trapping... the laughter and adrenaline are there.

From the beach of Erretegia to Bidart, the Coastal Trail winds along the Atlantic coast to the village of Saint-Jean-de-Luz. 13 km long, it takes 3:30 a. m. to complete the entire path, but it can be segmented at any time. For example, you can enjoy a round trip to Guétary port in 1:30 a. m. You will then have a beautiful view of the coastline, between beaches and cliffs. The Evi Nautika nautical base in Ciboure, one of the oldest sailing schools in the Bay of Socoa (51 years old), offers courses and lessons, and rents out nautical equipment all year round, including 9 Figaro sailboats (ideal for beginners), motorboats and paddleboats. This Adventure Park offers 11 tree courses of progressive difficulty, depending on your desires for sensations, emotions, thrills or challenges, and 171 workshops. A course for toddlers from 2 years old allows adults to keep an eye on their budding Indiana Jones. The duration of the adventure courses is between 2h30 and 5 hours, depending on the difficulty. Whether you're a beginner or an expert, you'll enjoy gliding down the Pas de Roland gorges, a listed natural site, following the river's capricious course in the heart of a wild environment. You'll be spoilt for choice of activities, including rafting, canorafting, hydrospeed, stand-up paddle, tubing and more. You can also go canyoning, aquarando, climbing, caving and much more.

In Saint-Jean-de-Luz, jaï-alaï is well known. The local club, Gaztenak, founded in 1982, trains youngsters in pelota, specializing in cesta punta in winter and grand chistera in summer. What is a jaï-alaï? It's a fronton where cesta punta is played, with a side wall perpendicular to the frontis, located to the left of it, and a back wall parallel to the frontis. In 2024, the ^40th edition of the International Cesta Punta will take place.

Many activities are offered by the swimming pool, composed of two pools, one of 50 m and the other of 25 m, as well as a playground. During the school year you can practice aquabike or aquagym. Not only Châtelaillon-Plage has a beautiful sandy beach, but it also has a marina where it is good to moor your boat. You will have access to some beautiful sites of the department, including the island of Aix and Fort Boyard. This harbor can accommodate 170 boats and its capacity is 120 places on pontoons and 92 moorings. The trip time is about 4 hours. Services: pontoon berths (open from March 15 to November 30), mooring buoys, launching... The management of the port has been transferred to the department since 2021.
