At Seb et Peyo's, you immediately feel the love of good wine and tapas. On the menu, you will find a wide choice of wines, mostly from organic agriculture. On the food side, they serve planks of cold cuts and cheeses, eggplant caviar, roasted camembert... The little extra? Seb and Peyo buy directly from local producers: a Medoc delicatessen in Saint-Estèphe, a Catalan in Figuères, the Jean d'Alos cheese factory in Bordeaux, the Bordier creamery in Saint-Malo... A nice address to discover.

To experience a typical Neko café, head for Nekomata, where everything has been designed to fit in with this concept, which is all the rage in Japan. Welcomed by 9 adorable cats, you slip into comfortable slippers and choose your drink, which is included in the formula: here, you pay according to the time you spend there. Afterwards, you're free to settle down on a sofa or in the cool courtyard. You can pick from the mango library, nibble a Japanese snack(onigiris, mochis...), hand out some croquettes, and get your fill of purrs!

What a wonderful discovery this little tearoom is, with an atmosphere and decor as delicate and refined as the pastries! At Bergamote, the sweetness is as much in the welcome as in the gourmet offerings: macaroons, chocolates and marshmallows, golden pastries (including the famous New York roll that's all the rage), and superbly crafted pastries. The tartelettes fleurs, the signature dessert that changes with the seasons, are so beautiful you almost hesitate to eat them... But it would be wrong not to!

Le Baryton is an incredibly dynamic community café. Every weekend, concerts and performances in a wide variety of styles are on offer: jazz, rock, reggae, blues, tango and theater... The rich program allows local artists and amateurs to perform in excellent conditions. The walls of the Café Baryton are also transformed into an art gallery for photo and painting exhibitions. Reservations essential for dinner! Prices are unbeatable and the tasty meal is prepared and served by volunteers.

What makes Café Brun special? A nice menu with a wide range of beers, whiskies, rums and other spirits. The café is also known for its festive and lively evenings, punctuated by the sound of eclectic and quality music. Confirming its taste for music, the bar hosts weekly concerts by artists. Outside of meal times, this café bistro is the fashionable place to meet up with friends over one of the many drinks on the menu, such as mint tea (fresh mint!) or the Viennese chocolate that we are so fond of. La Serru' is the place to be for families, professionals and students. The setting of this bar is very composite. Stay on the first floor if you want to enjoy the incredible main room, its glass roof and its windows... It is one of the few places open in Poitiers on Monday afternoons where you can have a tea with a delicacy (tiramisu, custard...).

At La Bodega Bodega, all Spain is on your plate! This establishment on Rue des Piliers de Tutelle is one of those Bordeaux restaurants that everyone knows! Take a seat in this Bordeaux bodega with tapas, Iberian ham, glasses of mojito and sangria, all set to danceable music and a summery ambience. In short, come and party like you're in Spain! Located just a stone's throw from the Place de la Comédie, the place attracts customers who want their morning coffee as much as those who come to have a drink with friends.

Leave the Old Port and its litany of bars behind and wander down to the little Rue Verdière. It's here that you'll discover a place that's both intimate and atypical. There's no doubt about it, the welcome is warm and the atmosphere pleasant, in a place dedicated to the famous 1970s American series. You only have to look around to realize that the owner, Jérôme, is a former pilot: aviator's jacket and cap, photos of fighter planes, crest, models... The decor leaves no room for doubt! This fan of Commander Greg Boyington's adventures has created a world of his own that will win you over. Note that every third Thursday of the month in "r", we come to taste oysters directly from the oyster farmer Cyril Parpaix, located in Anse de la Patache (at the end of the island).

It's here that La Comtesse proudly stands, and the first thing that catches your eye is its original, and admittedly kitschy, storefront. Inside, antique armchairs, cinema benches, chandeliers, portraits of old-timers... We're plunged into another time! We love the friendly, unusual, retro and baroque atmosphere. In short, an ideal setting for a Mojito before dinner or to finish off the evening.

This café offers one of the most pleasant terraces in Pontaillac. It enjoys a prime location in the heart of the magnificent Pontaillac district, just across from the beach and casino. It's a great opportunity to sit out on the terrace and enjoy the iodine-filled atmosphere, or to settle into a cosy banquette in the dining room. The view over the ocean makes you want to sample the seafood: fine oysters, special oysters, whelks and shrimps. With friends, enjoy a cocktail with a platter of cheeses or charcuterie.

The nine cats of the Comptoir des Chats open the doors of their cozy refuge: installed on the colored sofas or in the inner courtyard, come and enjoy the soothing purrs of Molly, Garfield, Mignon, Marlow (our favorite!) and their friends... The welcome is adorable, and the pastries delicious: everything is cooked on the spot, from organic ingredients. As for drinks, the choice is hard between the thirty or so Mariage Frères teas and infusions, smoothies and bubble tea, or the very tasty hot chocolate, the house specialty.

As you enter, you'll find yourself immersed in the world of Irish bars. The dining room, tea room and terrace overlooking the riverside garden below are all in a row. For comfort? Chairs and poufs on the grass, and high tables under the sheltered pergola. Outside, you'll find a bowling alley and a stage for concerts, DJs, theater and stand-up comedy. On the à la carte menu, you'll find a fine selection of French, Belgian, American, English and Irish beers, as well as snacks. A must in Mont-de-Marsan!

Connemara is arguably one of the most emblematic bars in the city, with its typical décor and friendly atmosphere. Irish Pub par excellence, it was the place to meet fans during the euro 2016! Here you can drink bottled of Guinness before rugby and football matches, broadcast on one of the screens. Draught draught beers and prices are attractive. Accompany your blonde with a few tapas, fish and chips or Irish stew (the Irish lamb stew).

On the animation side, the venue offers weekly evenings, open scenes and concerts, Irish, Celtic or rock! Attention, the terrace is very often packed, especially the evenings of sports meetings. A lively pub like you love them.

For almost 30 years, this atmospheric bar-restaurant on the beach at Nauzan has been serving up the unexpected. Popular with locals and tourists alike, it boasts an exotic setting. It's a popular address, as much for enjoying a fine meal by the pool as for sipping a cocktail. The atmosphere is relaxed, with casual service and simple cuisine, including wood-fired grills. Night owls make no mistake and return in droves to this happy place.

A real institution in Pau, the Garage and its Irish pub spirit are a hit with everyone! The brasserie offers quality dishes. For some of the best fish and chips in town, this is the place to go! The burger menu is unbeatable. The Death Burger, with its 600 grams of meat, or the enormous three-steak burger will delight meat lovers, who will also find an excellent prime rib. Housed in a former garage, the pub's relaxed, festive atmosphere is a must. The menu of 100 whiskies and 80 rums is mind-boggling, and the beer and cocktail list very comprehensive. A top-notch team awaits you.

A well-known address of rochelaise youth. Every night at La Calhutte, it's Java! We come from friends to enjoy the festive, festive atmosphere that reigns there. It is certainly not very large and seating is expensive, but the guarantee of an excellent evening is stronger. The music is good and very appreciated by the clients, it is not unusual to see the whole assembly take on the refrain of a song of Black Désir or Telephone. Comfortably installed in sofas and while sipping pop-corn, you can drink a multitude of drinks (beer, cervoise, jacqueline). As soon as it's beautiful and the sun is on, I recommend that you take a good time on the terrace on the charming Forks square.

At Little Monkey, you'll find a different atmosphere throughout the day, as the place doubles up as a restaurant, tea room and bar! During the day, you can relax in the establishment with a coffee or one of the varieties of tea, including Théodor's, in a warm setting. This is a perfect address, decorated in contemporary wood and metal lines that harmonize with the taupe and black colors. The Little Monkey bar continues to evolve with new dishes, homemade burgers and tapas cocktail evenings. A complete and exquisite address to discover without moderation!

Next to the facade of the town hall, the terrace and ambience of Le Cabana have made this bar-lounge-restaurant famous. Here you'll find colorful, vitamin-packed cocktails, spirits and arranged rums, as well as an extensive wine list. In the basement, a ^16th-century vaulted cellar offers a modern, musical night-bar atmosphere. The place can be privatized.

Come for the conviviality of a drink and a board to share, or to extend the evening after enjoying the restaurant. A great atmosphere at Le Cabana.

La Terrasse is one of the rare bars in La Rochelle to make the dance floor vibrate to the sound of hip-hop and urban music. The advantage is that it is located in the city center and that the team is welcoming. Its large terrace (hence the name!) is crowded when the weather is nice, and its open-plan interior is the perfect place to party. Here, for the followers of this style, the music is good and it is not a coincidence if the dance floor is crowded even if it should be recognized that it is not very large.

This bar is located in one of the quiet streets of La Rochelle. Open all week and even the weekend it welcomes all those who want to enjoy a relaxed atmosphere. It is in this place of sharing that you come among friends to drink a drink. The Harmattan - whose clientele is young enough - is the right place to get out of friends without having to break the vocal cords to discuss, with eclectic music not being too strong. The charm of the establishment is largely in its basement. A kind of very pleasant stone cellar.

The Sunset Café definitely has it all. From morning to night, you can enjoy a coffee, lunch, dinner or aperitif with your feet in the sand, facing the ocean. The à la carte menu features cocktails (with or without alcohol), beers and wines from France and abroad, as well as hearty sharing platters, homemade tapas, poké bowls and tataki. For dessert, our favorite is the brioche perdue (spread with roasted hazelnuts and macadamia vanilla ice cream). A must-see spot to admire the sunset.

On Place Camille-Jullian, in the heart of Bordeaux, the Utopia terrace is the ideal place to relax. In the morning, enjoy a coffee or breakfast, and read in the warmth of the first rays of sunshine. Later in the day, share a drink in the lively, festive atmosphere of the Place Bordelaise. The former Saint-Siméon church, full of character, also has an indoor space. Here you can sample their gourmet pastries, accompanied by an organic tea or herbal tea.

Atmosphere black and white for this tapas bar which makes the corner opposite the cinema the Rex. The Iberian delicacies are updated with local products in a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Damien Bourdelle simply wants customers to feel good. Inside, some tables and chairs but especially the counter, and for the sweet evenings the beautiful terrace. A nice place to find friends after the work or a movie.

A gourmet address par excellence, the French Coffee Shop is the palate of temptation! In the heart of a lively square, it welcomes you with its wooded and colourful decor. You are sure that it will bring you pleasant moments of relaxation and perhaps become the privileged place for your snacks... the hardest thing here is to choose! The hot and cold drinks menu is a festival: smoothies, fresh fruit juices, milkshakes, Viennese chocolate, cappuccino latte macchiato, toffee coffee, iced coffee... The original "coffee cookie" or "chocotella" recipes are variations of the cappuccino with toppings and whipped cream with pieces of cake or hazelnuts. This year, it is the Bubble Tea that is making a hit, an iced tea with small fruit balls whose aroma you choose, from kiwi to peach, it is according to taste, it is surprising because they burst in the mouth! On the pastry side, different varieties of muffins and cookies, classic pastries and the American range with plain, white chocolate or lemon cheesecakes, Carott Cake? We're salivating in advance!

It is easy to find, because next to the town hall, and very recognisable by its doors with etched windows and its green including trefoil... Was the bike hanging from the ceiling served to Lisdoonvarna, whose management is indicated on a sign on the post is set right in the middle of the room? Perhaps the boat even made it possible to cross the Ocean... A heterogeneous objects of alba, neon signs boasting Guinness and Beamish framed with the newspaper cuttings, remember that here, you are in Ireland. The service is therefore done at the bar: eleven pressure and about as many whiskies can be enjoyed in front of the giant screen, while nibbling, or listening to the concert given every weekend...

Not to be missed at mealtimes (see section), this bodega is also a must for aperitifs or in the evening. A real pleasure in this absolutely superb place, - rusty walls on the bar and the walls, bluish lighting... Gilles Lafitte, master restaurateur, is at the helm, with his tonic team. To make you live a good moment around a classic sangria or more sophisticated cocktails - Piña Colada, Caïpirinia, etc... - fresh fruit juices but also wines, especially by the glass, in an eloquent menu on which you can read this little sentence by Baudelaire, taken from the Fleurs du Mal, illustrating the Journal des vins, originally presented on a stand: "I feel immense joy when I fall into the throat of a man worn out by work and his warm chest is a sweet bomb where I enjoy myself much better... than in my cold cellars! ».

Fat Co? We could believe it but not, the place is all the cleanest. We come to exchange, to drink, reasonably as it should… The smile is without supplement, the benefit without great surprise, and the short counters sometimes tasty: «when we know what we know, and we can see what one sees, we should not be surprised that one thinks what one thinks…» A laughable quotation to note in your calepins without further delay to reveal it during your next evening!

This is the place to be in the lively Halles district of Biarritz! You'll recognize it by the barrels on the sidewalk, around which the regulars sit to enjoy a glass of wine, a flute of champagne accompanied by tapas, sliced ham chiffonnade, foie gras toast - another house specialty - Basque charcuterie from both sides of the border, and oysters. A colorful place with the best recipes from the Basque country and dishes inspired by nearby Spain.

Kako and her team are still at the helm of this not-to-be-missed spot for gourmets who like to come for an aperitif before dining out. The convivial, subdued atmosphere along the large, pewter-covered wooden bar displays the rations: Basque blood sausage, calamari, veal sweetbreads, homemade foie gras, pintxos and more. And plates to share. An invitation to taste them over a sangria, a homemade Americano before a dessert...homemade.

This bar-restaurant has a prime location, a little away from the hustle and bustle of the port, on the islet. The perfect opportunity to sit on a large terrace and discover Basque and Spanish specialities. Hot or cold tapas (marinated anchovy fillets, fried smelts) to taste. With friends, you can order a plate or a platter and discover more of this Iberian cuisine. The restaurant also proposes to taste more local products, seafood cooked a la plancha, oysters from Ré and mussels

The former Strong Pub has changed ownership and it is now Jean-Luc, known as Lucky, who holds the helm of Monbadon HQ, accompanied by Alix. The pub, whose identity is gay, wants to be a friendly friend. Very good music and a good kid's atmosphere are in the program in a frame inspired by English pubs! A good plan for Sunday's aperitif: tapas is offered in addition to your drinks!

This magical place, run by the Famose family, has been a must-see since its creation, with its terrace overlooking the beach, its bistronomic restaurant inspired by local gastronomy, its tapas bar that comes to life at sunset, and the beach that transforms into a dancefloor with its podium tables. The festive sounds and rhythms of today's top DJs will light up your evenings on the beach at Ilbarritz! And let's not forget the quality of our seasonal dishes: grilled fish, chipirons, blue baba...

Located in Bassins à Flot, Café Oz is an Australian bar. On the walls, mosaic frescoes by artist Emma Simon are an eye-catching reminder of Aboriginal pointillism. A friendly, sporty place, Café Oz boasts giant screens so you won't miss any of the sports broadcasts. On the drinks front, you'll find a wide choice of wines, cocktails and beers, some imported directly from Australia. Docked just opposite the café, the Oz Boat offers catering, afterworks and event privatization. Cheers mate!

The adjective that doesn't fit this tapas bar and restaurant is static. The terrace has been enlarged to accommodate all fans of Iberian cuisine, including the famous pintxos (from 3 euros). Here, the produce is fresh and the cooking "home-made". Alex and Vivian also concoct the famous plato combinado with lomo or chipirons, fried egg, piperade, potatoes, salad and sheep's cheese. At lunchtime on weekdays, the full lunch menu costs 16.90 euros. Entertainment is also provided.

In this new bar located on the Cours d'Alsace Lorraine, the cocktails change from the ordinary and are really worth the trip. Every evening, enjoy the Happy Hour, enjoying a few pints of blonde at 3 euros or Jägermeister's shooters at 4 euros. Attractive prices in a very good atmosphere. The Sputnik also has a dance floor because techno evenings are regularly organized, starting at 9:30 pm (admission is free). A clubbing atmosphere guaranteed!
