Concert halls New Aquitaine

This concert hall can accommodate up to 2,500 people! On the menu: eclectic programming (music, circus, theater, comedy, comedy, young audience, themed evenings, special events...). BigFlo and Oli have already performed here, as have Yannick Noah and Julien Clerc. In July and August, take advantage of the terraces and summer stage for concerts, DJ sets, etc. Tickets are available online, on site on show nights, and from tourist offices in Seignosse and Bayonne or from our partners.

Here you are, 65 million years back in time! The pine and fern forest is filled with larger-than-life dinosaurs - it's like being there! Among your encounters, you're sure to come across an 8.50 m-long, 4 m-high stegosaurus weighing 3 tonnes, a dilophosaurus from the film Jurassic Park, a tyrannosaurus... In the park, your children can enjoy giant inflatables, rides and even take part in paleontological digs to discover, who knows, bones or fossils. A great family outing!

Created in 1983, this international mime arts festival takes place every year in the city of Périgueux. For 5 days in early July, it takes place in the streets, public gardens and several of the city's venues. Its rich program, with shows for all audiences, features mime, street arts, object theater, circus, puppetry, body performances and more... Numerous workshops, courses and masterclasses are also offered to complement these events and introduce audiences to these artistic practices.

La Hune is an exceptional cultural space. This municipal performance hall located in Saint-Benoît is appreciated for the quality and versatility of its facilities. Each season, La Hune hosts local and nationally renowned artists, local events and demonstrations. In partnership with the Saint-Benoît town hall, the association Organisation Hune Evénements (OHÉ) ensures part of the quality programming, which is open to all. Other events are organized directly by the city's cultural service, by private productions or by the numerous associations of the agglomeration. Theater, humor, dance, music, cinema... it's varied!

Located on the site of the former Jean-Marcel Despagne stadium, this complex includes 4 projection rooms with tiers that offer, regardless of their size, the same sound quality, excellent screen visibility, rows of 1.20 m and large, very comfortable seats. The largest room is dedicated to live performances about fifteen days a year with opera broadcasts. The rest of the time, it is used for film screenings. The programming is of high quality all year round: films for the general public, auteur films, films for young audiences...

A great success for this completely renovated Italian-style theater dating from 1834, Bayonne's cultural Mecca at the confluence of the Nive and Adour rivers. A wide variety of superb shows are staged throughout the year for different audiences (children, adults). A theater with an eclectic program that has reduced the number of seats for a better stage-audience ratio according to Greek theater standards: two-thirds, one-third. On the program: theater, dance, circus, young audiences, humor and music. A great show!

At the heart of the CGR Cinéma, the ICE (Immersive Cinema Experience) room stands out for its absolute comfort: spacious seats combined with exceptional audiovisual quality. The complex is also home to nine other theaters, each offering a varied selection of films. To enhance the experience, a confectionery section and a bar area are available, while a dedicated area allows children to celebrate their birthdays. The Ciné Cinéma association enriches the local film scene with demanding programming, punctuated by debates.

Opened in January 2018, the Théâtre des Beaux-Arts is a vibrant space for creation. The room, warm and intimate, hosts an eclectic program throughout the year, in order to surprise an audience of curious or regulars: comedies, one-man shows, dramatic plays... Local and regional companies present their latest creations. The place can also be privatized, for companies looking for a truly original and atypical setting to organize cocktails, meetings, trainings or parties.

Formerly a sensational cinema that had fallen into disrepair, the "camion-théâtre de l'ouest" has been rehabilitated as a travelling auditorium with 80 tiered seats. With its PRM access, all audiences are welcome, starting with children, who always come away amazed. The "camion-théâtre de l'ouest" also hosts film-concerts and more thematic evenings, preceded by a meal at very reasonable prices.

Piano, guitar, double vocals and percussion: Alice and Morgane, who make up the duo Maniolya, know how to set the mood in a gentle, original way. Professionally trained and accustomed to the stage, they stroll down the sunny aisles of pop/folk, a repertoire they master perfectly and brighten up with their personal creativity. Keep an eye out for their latest news, as Maniolya (whom you can contact for private events) regularly performs concerts at various venues in the Dordogne, in spring and summer.

For a week, Montignac vibrates to the rhythm of music and folklore from around the world. Shows and concerts are on the program, as are craft markets and exhibitions, notably in the Salle Jean Macé, which becomes a veritable treasure trove throughout the summer. Since 1981, groups and troupes from all over the world have been sharing their heritage at Montignac, along with some of the biggest names in contemporary music. In 2024, reggae star Yaniss Odua opens the festival.

The Cinéma Les Colonnes in Blanquefort is a cultural hub for all ages. With its two screening rooms, the establishment offers a varied program combining blockbusters and auteur films in their original version, not forgetting the must-see films of the 7th art. Every month, the team offers a series of not-to-be-missed events: "Ciné petit déj", "Ciné thé" and "Clin d'oeil" for discussions around the films. A member of the very active Ciné Passion en Périgord network since 1986, Le Vox cinema is a Montignac institution. Eric, Franck and Marie Hélène keep this eclectic, cutting-edge cinema alive all year round. They leave no audience out with their selection, which includes films in VO, blockbusters and children's films, as well as mini-festivals, notably dedicated to short films, theme evenings and meetings. The must-see Lébérou in Périgord Noir! This funny creature, not unlike the werewolf, won't bite you throughout this nomadic festival held in November. Plazac, Coly, Tamniès, Aubas, Auriac, Marquay and several other emblematic villages host a show throughout this month of tales, readings, music and stage productions. Some events are particularly suitable for young audiences, so don't hesitate to ask beforehand and take advantage of the passes available.

It's thanks to the initiative of a number of communes in the Basque Country and the efforts of volunteers that local cinemas are being revived. This is already the case in 8 other towns in the Pays Basque and in Hasparren with the Haritz Barne cinema, created at the very beginning of the ^20th century and completely renovated in 2020 to meet all safety and accessibility standards... CGR Fontaine le Comte is a family cinema open every day of the year in Fontaine-le-Comte. You'll find a wide choice of films in French and English, an arcade, a café-cinema and a candy store. The Ecuries de Baroja, a center for multidisciplinary creation and presentation, is a major cultural asset for the town of Anglet. Every Thursday, the town of Anglet shares the artistic direction of the "Barojas Thursdays" with several associations. Two auditoriums, seating 80 and 60, are located on the first floor. Dedicated to choral singing, photography, painting and improvisation, the space meets the demands of artistic creation. The complex also boasts a café-theater-style room (seating around 80) for conferences and rehearsals.

The La Hontira association offers themed meetings, musical workshops and mini concerts in this circle. Headquartered in the village, La Hontira aims to promote Gascon culture through workshops, dance and music initiations, balls and festivals, and to pass on traditional culture to children and adults alike, promoting intergenerational relations and social transition.

Closed in 2022, the "Théâtre des Treize Vents" will reopen in spring 2024 under the impetus of the municipality. The premises have been renamed. Born in the Lot-et-Garonne commune of Coulx and dying at the age of 72 in Villeneuve-sur-Lot on January 25, 2023, Roger Louret was a well-known figure in the world of show business. Founder of the "Baladins en Agenais" theater company, he worked with Muriel Robin, Elie Semoun and Annie Gregorio in their early days, and launched a new generation of young artists (Gabriel Sarrou Vergnac, Baptiste Gonthier). A well-deserved tribute.

The art house cinema of Melle. It shows the latest international alternative films in VOSTFR, the big box-office hits and films for young people. Concert hall for contemporary music with an eclectic program. Hip-hop, dub, rock, metal, mix, the association offers a wide range of sounds: one or two concerts are organized every month. Diff'art is also distinguished by its educational will. The year is punctuated by numerous events, special evenings for young people, MAO and writing workshops, meetings with musicians, etc. It will also be possible to take a course at the Rock School, or to take advantage of the rehearsal room. A poet, Sophie Haffner has self-published two books of poems, which she is happy to read at various poetry events in the Périgord region, as well as at public readings in various establishments. After years working in the publishing industry, she moved to Rouffignac, where she writes, edits and is a very active advocate for artists' rights in the region. A lover of human contact, she offers to sign her books at informal gatherings and markets.

The Pyrène Festival is an annual event that takes place in Bordes, offering a varied program of local and international artists in different musical genres. The Pyrène Festival is organized by the Loco-Motivés association in partnership with the Bordes town council.

The Louis Jouvet municipal cinema in Uzerche offers a varied, up-to-date program. Screenings are available in 2D and 3D, with an extra charge for glasses. In a former chapel restored in 1993 by over 2000 Guides de France, a concept unique in France was born: the Cabaret de la Fourmi Rouge. This remarkable transformation of the former Romanesque chapel into an incredible entertainment venue pays tribute to the young girls nicknamed the "Red Ants". Their dedication, symbolized by their red outfits and helmets and the way they worked in single file, left its mark on the place.
