CINEMAS REX

This Art and Trial cinema, with the typical architecture of the 3 s, certified research and discovery, young public, heritage that has air-conditioned rooms equipped with Dolby SRD is the rendezvous of film fans. The programming, complete and varied, presents the films in their original version and most often in national output. Retrospective, theme sessions, meetings in the presence of actors, directors and critics are regularly organised. Fact sheets and folders on films are available for free at reception. In the summer, open-air, free and open-air cinema sessions offer public movies. Children have their favourite time with the movie-tea. This formula proposes to sensitize children to the cinema with a film adapted to their age (but which are adapted to different audiences), an animation and a snack. Finally, since 2004, it welcomes the Middle film Festival of Brive-la-Gaillarde in June. The Rex must remain a place of aesthetic proposal and aim to emphasise, whenever possible, the singularity of the work of cinematographic art and the process of creation.
