Many stars have passed in this mythical rink in the centre of Bordeaux. If some do not want the Mériadeck rink as a concert hall (in question, noise problems and an aging structure, despite some recent improvements), the stars continue to come: Julien Doré, Laurent Gerra, IAM or the troupe of the musical comedy Les 3 Musketeers. Since 1981, the place, with more than 7000 places, offers quality shows and concerts for all tastes.
Skating fans are required to make their passion and slide over Mériadeck's ice. The famous Boxer Hockey team in Bordeaux is moving in this field and offering a real sporting show!

Ok, acoustics is not brilliant, especially in the aigues mortes. But the stage is huge and it is well seen everywhere, although on the 2nd floor, is a bit far. I saw there Francis Cabrel, Christophe Maé, Laurent Gerra, Gad Elmaleh, Florence Foresti, chancels Red Army, the Soldier Pink, the Opera Mozart, etc. and Holiday on Ice, of course!
Do not go here! I went to see several shows and each time I was disappointed by deplorable acoustics (effect Larsen, sizzlings).
I went to see Renaud in the Angoulême (espace Carat) and this declared on stage that the angoumoisins had lucky enough to have a show room of this level of quality, because the day before, it had given a concert in a " bestiaux" shed; (with ice Rink)...
It is exactly what I think of the ice-rink where never again I will put your feet!
