Jacques Godignon has restored, in the heart of the village, this old 200 m² farmhouse which he transformed for his home and the creation of 3 guest rooms. A fourth one is planned. Between Lascaux and Sarlat, between the Dordogne and Vézère, you will be there as close as possible to the authenticity of the Périgord Noir. Walks, hikes, visits, relaxation, here is in a few words the program of your stay, without forgetting the gastronomy that makes the reputation of this little corner of paradise.

It is not a simple guest room but a real haven of peace in a city dedicated to all the gourmet ones. At Liliane and Jean-Claude's, you stay in a large farmhouse located in a street with a dreamy name: rue des Fleurs! And there are plenty of flowers in the big wooded estate where 3 rooms which, fortunate coincidence, all carry a name of plant. The Garance, the Aubépine and the Ysatis are finely decorated, having stone walls, a pretty floor and warm colors varying between red and turquoise. All are spacious, offering more than 30m² and a private bathroom. In the morning, after a restful night, enjoy a surprising breakfast, to say the least. If the weather is fine, you can have it on the terrace in the garden, the other days you can have it in the former cowshed which has become a dining room! In the menu, homemade jams and of course the famous pancake which does not need an introduction anymore. Besides, the house is a table d'hôte with as specialty the mussel éclade which are eaten in conviviality. To come to La Pastorale is also to take the time to settle in the cellar where there is a large library, but also to exchange with owners impassioned by gardens, roses and ceramic items.

Between La Rochelle and the Marais Poitevin, "La villa Cécile" welcomes its guests in a contemporary house hidden in traditional appearance surrounded by a garden. You will stay in one of the 3 rooms with an elegant style or you can choose to sleep in a round bed, or a bed of 180cm or 200cm. For your well-being, you can enjoy the sauna and whirlpool bath and on booking, the services of a beautician.

In a beautiful house of the nineteenth century, in the city centre, Laurence and Pascal Amelot have built four suites of 50m^₂ with a warmly decorated room, a living room and a bathroom with walk-in shower. Each of them also has a different atmosphere. Three suites are designed for two people (double or twin) and one for 4 people. The house has undergone some renovation, but all the space and old features have been retained: ceiling height, tiled floor with ancient cement, old wooden floors, beautiful marble fireplaces, glass doors, and carved cast iron radiators. It also has a large lounge, a billiards room, a fitness room which is available for guests. The dining room opens onto a terrace overlooking the garden and the swimming pool. The breakfasts are served on the terrace in summer.

The place is ideal for those wishing to stay for one night or more in a beautiful villa of the 1930s. The residence is just like the architecture of Saint-Palais-sur-Mer and Royan, marked by the roaring twenties and sea bathing. What a pleasure to enter there, being warmly welcomed and settling in one of the four rooms! Each of them is spacious, nicely decorated and comfortable. We love to take the time to settle in Grande Garenne, to spend a moment on the balcony and admire the garden. Families will enjoy the charm of the blue room consisting of two adjoining rooms, the one with a double bed and private shower, the other with two single beds. In the morning, before heading out for a walk along the beach, enjoy a homemade breakfast which will be served on the terrace or in the dining room.
