The place is not a classic tourist circuit but it is by word of mouth that it became successful. The atmosphere is friendly and regulars like to meet at the bar or the restaurant. The chef uses fresh produce for traditional recipes that are renewed daily. The complete menu offers starters, main course and dessert for which you are given three choices. The cuisine is a delight: sirloin with pepper sauce or roquefort, potjevleesh (potted meat), dos de lieu, chicken gizzards mustard sauce... You too can share this address! Take note that the restaurant offers a reception room for 70 people and a private car park.

Le Monaghan, it is an institution that is making coffee, brasserie, tobacco and newspaper. That's all. Here you can chat and drink coffee in the morning coming buy your newspaper. It is also possible to have lunch or dinner. The decor is reminiscent of the English and Irish pubs. The name of the establishment was not chosen randomly. The prices are more than  reasonable and the welcome of the owner as the waitress is very friendly. In summer, the terrace is more than pleasant.

Located in the Bollaert area, this restaurant has been in existence since the mid-1990s. It is experiencing a revival of activity due to its proximity to the Louvre-Lens Museum. The Gourmet Break welcomes you in a cosy setting. The tables are judiciously arranged to immerse you in an intimate and cosy atmosphere. As you enter, you will step on a red carpet, matching the colour of the seats and curtains. The establishment offers a traditional cuisine. Dishes are served à la carte or as you wish from 5 menus. As a starter, let yourself be tempted by the crispy maroilles and its endives of the day. Continue with scallops with speculoos or beef steaks. The desserts are varied: northern ice cream, chicory crème brûlée or fresh fruit salad. The portions are sufficient, the service is both fast and courteous and the prices are studied as accurately as possible. This stopover restaurant is worth a visit, especially if you decide to spend the night at the Bollaert Hotel, which is part of the house.

Printing becomes the Editorial, but for the rest, nothing changes. It is always the biggest brasserie of Picardy, with 250 seats spread over two floors. If there is a giant screen at the entrance that broadcasts continuous trailers, don't expect to find a restaurant dedicated to cinema inside: the decoration is rather sober and modern in design, with a play of soft lights on one side and bright lights on the other thanks to the large bay windows. The kitchen, on the first floor, is visible from the outside. The menu gives pride of place to fish, woks and tartars. There is also a good choice of burgers, salads and specialities such as Picardy twine and welsh. A refined cuisine, nicely served in harmoniously shaped dishes. A stop that will quickly become a must before or after the cinema!
