This canoeing base, run by seasoned sportsmen and women, is located in Comprégnac, on the grounds of Le Katalpa campsite. A privileged spot to offer their customers real adventures in nature. Between the swift waters of the river and the fiery green of the Raspes du Tarn, the possibilities are endless - or almost: canoeing - and not just any canoe! All activities, whether independent or accompanied, are an opportunity to discover exceptional flora and fauna, breathtaking landscapes, villages and remarkable structures.

It is sometimes considered "the balcony of the Pyrenees", do you know why? Go ahead and you will understand soon… Fort of its four slopes, the Skiable-Superbagnères ski area offers nature lovers and passionnés glisse a breathtaking panorama of the Luchon valley, the mythical peaks of the Maladeta, and the Aneto - the roof of the Pyrenees. Let us admit that the framework is rather tempting! If the portfolio does not always agree to take you to the top of the alpine ski slopes, please note that a hiking itinerary is available free of charge in the lake area: a good opportunity to enjoy the joys of raquette or cross-country skiing!

At the heart of the Haut-Languedoc Regional Nature Park lies the Gorges d'Héric, an exceptional site that has been listed since 1993. Thanks to a trail, you can discover the richness of the flora and fauna, stroll along the water and discover the waterfalls and chasms. Signs ask questions. Answers can be found in the "Gorges d'Héric booklet", on sale at the Tourist Office. The walk is on foot, and takes 5 km and 315 m of ascent. It takes about 1h30 with normal walking, 2h with breaks. The return journey takes the same route, i.e. 10 km round trip. Ideal for families, with stroller access. The Gorges d'Héric is also a place where you can cool off in the natural pools. Héric is a charming, picturesque hamlet with small stone houses, slate roofs and chestnut frames, narrow streets and terraced fields.

Practical info : From Mons-la-Trivalle, head for the Gorges d'Héric parking lot. Paid parking on Easter weekends and from April 15 to September 15. The Snack Loulette welcomes you. Picnic tables, toilets, water points, sandwiches and drinks are also available in Héric.

Did you know? Numerous hikes are possible from this site, including the Sentier des Gardes, accessible from the Soupirs footbridge (on the right at the start of the gorges), which takes 2h30 to reach the Caroux orientation table (Caution: significant difference in altitude: 800 m D+).

This short interpretive trail takes you to meet bitterns, birds in the same family as egrets and herons. If you want to catch a glimpse of some of these birds, you'll need to be quiet and unobtrusive! Here and there, huts and platforms invite the most curious to hide and observe them. The walk is both peaceful and exotic, as you make your way along a stilted path overlooking ponds and marshes. A unique walk!

Founded in 1860, the Société d'Horticulture et d'Histoire Naturelle de l'Hérault groups together several sections dedicated to the observation and study of biodiversity. At this Montpellier-based institution, you can take part in a wide range of activities relating to botany, entomology, geology and mycology. Exhibitions, lectures, introductory field trips... each activity will pass on the knowledge of nature experts, with passion. There's also an extensive library to help you expand your knowledge. On Monday afternoons, you can even take part in a free mushroom identification course.

In the heart of the tourist resort, the International Tennis Center has many facilities: 22 outdoor tennis courts, including 6 clay courts and 4 synthetic grass courts, 8 indoor courts, including 2 clay courts. This path invites you to a quiet interlude along the Hérault River, the Mediterranean Sea and the Canal du Midi. The protected area of Les Verdisses, a real green lung, covers 600 hectares. With a bit of luck, you will be able to see a European cistude, a small freshwater turtle, or the European bee-eater, a bird with remarkable colors.

Note: access to marker n°6 of the trail is possible if the Belle Isle park is open, otherwise you have to come back to the starting point after having reached marker n°5.

Walk in the heart of the Verdisses area, a green setting towards the beaches and Adge.

This path starts near the campsite La Tama, the water tower and the bunkers which constituted the "Wall of the Mediterranean". It starts in the pine forest, continues to the pond, continues along the Canal du Midi, then through the vineyards, and reveals a ranch. Do not miss the visit of the bunker 638. It is a collection of images, scents and colors for everyone to enjoy.

The horse or pony rides will allow you to discover the limestone hills of the massif, the vineyards and also the Mediterranean plants.

Nestled in the gorges de l'Hérault near Montpellier and the Grotte des Demoiselles, this via ferrata is one of the longest and most magnificent in Occitanie. This aerial route offers an exceptional panorama between the Pic Saint Loup and Mont Aigoual. With its vertical sections, monkey bridge, zip line, abseiling, chimneys, caves and tunnels, it offers a unique experience. With over 20 years' experience under its belt, Zepetra is Montpellier's oldest circus school. The association has developed 3 main areas of activity: a leisure circus school for children and adults, educational workshops in schools from kindergarten to high school, adapted circus and, finally, an artistic space seen as a place for circus and performing artists to create and rehearse... Sessions take place throughout the week and are organized by age group. The teaching team is made up of six circus arts instructors, all of whom hold the Brevet d'Initiateur aux Arts du Cirque and Drac professional accreditation.

Private circuit 3 636 m long and 12 m wide. Between Mont-de-Marsan and Pau, the Nogaro circuit is open for free motorcycle testing a week-end, depending on the availability of the runway. Pre-registration required and necessary because the circuit is often only available one day per weekend for motorcycles (9 h -12 h and 14 h -18 h). If you are not a member of the Nogaro club, you pay access fees to the track of € 100 per day to be added to the non-licensed MFF. If you become a licensed member of the club (licensed at the MFF through the club club) the day will be 7 € instead of € 90. This sailing club is a specialist in multi-activities. Wingsurf, kayak, stand up paddle, catamaran, dinghy, pedal boat, efoil, optimist... There is something for everyone with Bouzigliss! The team of instructors offers a discovery of sailing and the pleasures of gliding on the Thau lagoon, around Bouzigues. Whether you want to learn or practice your favorite sport, this is a good place to have fun with friends or family.

Set alongside a pretty pine forest, this is the ideal place to learn or improve your sailing skills. Courses and private lessons are supervised by qualified, experienced instructors. Sea garden for the little ones, optimist from age 7, funboat or catamaran for teenagers: there's something for everyone! We also love our trips on Le Baroulaïre, a sailboat that allows families and friends to discover the marine environment and try their hand at maneuvering and steering.

Looking for something to do with a rainy day? Récré Café is the ideal playground! In Auch, this 300 m² indoor playground is reserved for children aged 1 to 10. Inside, there's everything for fun: ball pool, play mats, foam slide, play modules, monkey bridge structure, slide, trampolines, giant LEGOs... A haven of recreation for your little ones to let off steam! Adults can wait in the café area. Before you come, remember to bring your children's socks - they're compulsory!

Located at the foot of the Haut Languedoc regional park, this equestrian club is run by a complementary team. On the program: horse and pony rides and excursions, from two hours to several days, supervised by Yann, a state-qualified rider. These outings will take you to the Aiguille forest, the Sor valley, the castles of the Cathar country and the Tarn gorges. Whether you're an experienced rider or not, this is a wonderful way to discover the countryside.

You don't have to be a member to take part in one of the many hikes proposed by this cheerful team, whose program can be found online or in the local press. Membership is compulsory after the^3rd participation, after having tested the club's good atmosphere... One of the club's stated aims is clear: "To share steps and create social links". The website lists all the outings scheduled for the week and half-year, together with a list of essential equipment.

At Roue Libre et Sports, you can rent (or buy) your two wheels for the family, and there is really something for all levels: from city bikes to mountain bikes, including racing bikes and children's bikes.
