Created by the Mercurey defense and management organization (ODG), Caveau Divin is the showcase for the Mercurey AOC, which celebrates its 100th anniversary in 2023. The cellar features 44 estates with one or two crus each, and 64 wines. It's possible to taste them all, thanks to the fact that the wines are kept in an oenomatic cellar, which allows the bottles to be kept open under nitrogen. The formula is simple: simply obtain a tasting card from reception, credit it with the amount of your choice, and make your selection from the wines available.

La Cave du Caboulot is a nod to the Chagny restaurant Le Caboulot, run by Lauriane Lava's parents. The young woman worked there for many years, developing a passion for wine alongside her training in Beaune. It was therefore only logical that she should open her own cellar in the spring of 2022. She offers a selection of local and French wines, as well as spirits, beers, fruit juices and artisanal lemonades. The premises also feature a wine bar area, where Lauriane regularly organizes themed evenings.

EPICUREA

Caviste
4.8/5

Closed - Open to 08h30

In the center of Poligny, a very contemporary shop does not only sell cheeses. If the store's decay and sign changed, its original vocation remained the same: wine and cheese. There are 90% of biologic and natural wines, including the best of the Jura (yellow wine, macwine, savagnum savagnum…). Other regional nectars (sauces, monbazillac, champagnes, Burgundy wines, whiskies and rheus of the world, absinthes…) are presented by a passionate wine cellar. Very elegant packages are for all budgets. On the cheese factory side, six county affinations are honored (from 6 to 24 months). The sheep and many other local cheeses are declared in quality. The sausage of Morteau and the Upper Doubs sausage are the most popular. These treasures of the soil taste on the plates at the same time as the wine tasting at the counter. A favorite place for gastronomers looking for safe values and wise advice about Jura or other products! The best way to make the right choices.

COMPTOIR DES VIGNES

If the brand is national, no Comptoir des Vignes is the same, as the personality of its wine merchant has a lot to do with the offer. LE SOMMELIER GOURMAND

Here's an address widely acclaimed by the people of Tonnerre, and with good reason: after a notable stint at the Plaza Athénée and the Taillevent cellar (no less!), sommelier Patrice Vidaller decided to settle in Tonnerre a few years ago. His ambition? To introduce visitors to exceptional wines and spirits, as well as more affordable, quality wines. Of course, his advice is always top-notch, and so is the atmosphere. You can even treat yourself to regional products to accompany your tastings.
