Then comes the plate in which is presented an authentic Italian cuisine with a beautiful contemporary touch. The glass follows the same logic with several vintages imported from Italy. Located a stone's throw from Scotiabank Arena and Maple Leaf Square, it's a great place for an aperitif with a dish to share or a meal before a show.

Located on the first floor of the SunLife Tower, Earls is one of the hottest spots in the neighborhood. With a West Coast-inspired decor, it offers world-flavored cuisine as well as a superb grill and seafood menu (with a few options for vegetarians and vegans as well). On weekends and holidays, the place also offers a great brunch that draws a crowd. Mention should be made of the superb outdoor terrace with a bar. Several other locations in Canada and the United States.

This take-out counter with terrace is next to its big sister, the restaurant Bati Bassac (which is also worth discovering). On the canteen side, a wide range of Cambodian specialties but also from other South-East Asian countries, such as Saolin beef (breaded beef sautéed in an orange teriyaki sauce, sprinkled with candied oranges and flavored with sesame) or Singapore pad (rice noodles sautéed with chicken and shrimps in a curry sauce, cabbage strips and carrot). The pailin and imperial rolls are also excellent. We will go back there!

This pizzeria has taken up residence in the village's former presbytery. A gourmet stopover par excellence, it prepares Neapolitan-inspired pizzas baked in a wood-fired oven (you can admire the kitchen team at work as soon as you set foot in the restaurant). The menu features some 15 options, not forgetting starters to whet the appetite (plate of prosciutto, burrata, arancini, etc.). There's also a fine selection of craft beers and ciders, spritzers, cocktails and tutti quanti. Bonus: a terrace on the banks of the river.

The fine Indian cuisine is honored here, just like in London or New York, for example. The decor alone is worth the trip, which is inspired by the Mughal Empire, and both the furniture and the wallpaper are handmade in India. On the plate, as everything looks absolutely delicious, we recommend the tasting platters offered in vegetarian or not. Note that Adrak has another branch in Richmond Hill, a little less upscale than this one.

Located on the^3rd floor of a historic building, Le Esmond is a gourmet address not to be missed in Granby! Chef Antoine Bossé and his brigade lovingly concoct succulent bistro dishes: octopus served on a cake and chorizo, broccoli cavatelli and surf clams, veal cheek blanquette, 60-day aged beef tomahawk, seafood platter... The desserts are just as tempting, not to mention a fine wine list and cocktails like the mango and coriander pisco or the peach and blood orange sangria.

Above all, the atmosphere and décor. The high wooden tables from an old farmhouse, the aged leather stools resting on beams, the stuffed animal heads, the light that the large bay windows let in, replaced by soft lighting in the evening... Everything is designed to transport you to the heart of an original concept. Each season, the menu is renewed according to market produce, for a simple cuisine with an American flavour (burgers of all kinds, grills, fish & chips, lobster guédille, tartars...).

Beautiful small unpretentious square with brick wall, recycled lamps and retro furniture. Very much in the spirit of the neighborhood! According to some, Tuck Shop has a little je-ne-sais-quoi reminiscent of the Monkland Tavern in the Notre-Dame-de-Grâce district in its early days. Not surprising when you learn that some of the old-timers from this address work here, in the kitchen and in the dining room. The slate displays wild mushrooms, duck breast, saddle of rabbit, Icelandic cod, organic salmon and other small dishes depending on the arrivals. Good little address!

At Pastaga, we put Quebec on the plate with local products and dishes of varied inspiration. But we're also in a wine bar, with a beautiful 100% natural menu. Even the Josper oven made the trip from Barcelona, giving an authentic smoky flavour to meats, fish and vegetables. As for the décor, it is both raw and chic, a thousand miles from what is found in the surrounding area.

A small institution in the Saint-Henri district, Satay Brothers offers Singaporean cuisine in a long room with a jumble of tables that mix friends and strangers in a general hubbub fed by pop music. On the plate, taste. The satay is excellent, as is the green papaya salad and the laksa soup. The prices are low, but the tapas-like portions will make the bon vivants reorder, to the point where the bill is much higher than the menu would suggest. Nevertheless, a great address if you're in the area.

Above all, The Farsides pays homage to hip-hop culture in every corner of its den, from the decor (mention should be made of the mural featuring Slick Rick) to the background music and the names of the cocktails. On the gourmet side, the cuisine blends Hawaiian and Thai styles, with fish and seafood taking center stage. Here, it's prepared with shredded beef, creamed corn and cheesy mashed potatoes.
