ASTRONOMY OUTBACK
Read moreWhat better place than the Outback and purity of his sky to observe the stars? This is what Outback Astronomy proposes every night in season (check the calendar). Observation is done to the naked eye, using binoculars or telescope depending on the sessions. You can then discover the milky way, understand the movement of the planets, recognize them with the main stars and name them. For meetings between April and November, think that the temperature is zero at Broken Hill and do not hesitate to cover.

Read moreLocated in the East MacDonnell Ranges, the location is famous for its cliffs and streams. Starting point for hiking Trails, the Trephina Ridge Top Walk offers a breathtaking view of the mountains. Count 2 hours walk. Go to 4 x 4 if you get there during or just after the rainy season because the road is not asphalted. It is not uncommon to see dingoes at night but they are not disturbing. The site has three campsites, two of which you can plant the tent. Washrooms are available. This place is not frequented because the West MacDonnell Ranges are more popular.
