TENTERFIELD RAILWAY MUSEUM
Museum housed in a former railway station in Tenterfield, allowing visitors to travel back in time through railway equipment.
Tenterfield was once linked to Sydney by train. Built in 1886, the station operated for over a century, until the last train arrived in 1988. Today, the site is maintained by volunteers who ensure the preservation of the buildings, platforms and railway equipment. You'll discover vintage railcars, antique artifacts and many anecdotes recounting the rich history of Australia's railways. A historic stopover!
