The iceberg is an apartment building located in the port, near the city centre. This complex offers owners an optimal view of the sea from the apartments. The intersecting points make the building look like a floating iceberg.

Copenhagen's Central Station has a lot to impress with its Viking castle look. As the nerve centre of the rail and urban transport network, apart from this functional aspect, it deserves that we take the time to look at it! Designed by Heinrich Wenck in 1911, its architectural style echoes the town hall beyond Tivoli Park. Medieval historicist influences, the modernity of its hall, its 12 quays covered by a metal frame.

A wave gushing out of the ocean! This is the impression given by the architecture of this immense hotel, which is part of the Congress Centre inaugurated in 1965, and which has been constantly enlarged and modernised since then until the construction of the two 15° inclined towers, 77 metres high, designed by the Danish firm 3XN. The Bella Sky Hotel, with its breathtaking panoramic view, is certainly the largest hotel in Scandinavia with 814 rooms. No doubt they were all occupied during the International Climate Conference in Copenhagen in December 2009!

Ruth Smith Nielsen is a Faroese artist born in 1913. After her studies in Denmark, at the Bizzie Højer art school and then at the Copenhagen Academy of Arts, she returned to live in the small village of Nes, situated on the Vágsfjørður fjord, between the villages of Vágur and Porkeri. The young woman loved to swim in the sea. Tragically, she drowned in 1958. Inspired by Cézanne, her landscapes bear witness to the influence of the Impressionists, and color vibrates in her canvases. A keen photographer, she also enjoyed capturing the light of the Faroe Islands.

The museum is housed in the old schoolhouse where Ruth went as a child. Among the artist's paintings and drawings, one of the main works is a self-portrait painted in 1941.

Hvide Sande, located on the west coast of Jutland in Denmark, is a popular tourist destination for its wild and magnificent landscapes.
