Big smiles and good humour await you at Café Milk, behind a discreet front among many others. This small, white and bright cafeteria is famous for its good food, both at breakfast and lunch time. Salads, sandwiches, burritos, soups, noodles, falafels: there are plenty of options, including for vegetarians and gluten intolerant people, and everything is fresh and tasty. Enjoy with freshly squeezed fruit juice, kombucha or special hot chocolate (cocoa from Ivory Coast and salt from the Himalayas).

Don't expect to go away hungry in this tiny take-away where only one table can accommodate customers. Most people take away one of the huge potato fillings, accompanied by your choice of one or more vegan or vegetarian toppings (curry, hummus, avocado, coleslaw, chili...). A medium formula is more than enough for a big eater and you can also enjoy a few salads and cakes, making it an ideal and tasty drop-off point just a few steps from the Royal Mile. The Oyster Shed will have no trouble finding a place in the hearts of seafood enthusiasts. In its boutique in Carbost, you can choose small dishes to eat on outdoor tables (picnic area) or to take away, with oysters, langoustines, scallops, crab, lobster, sandwiches and many more. Or you can buy good local products - cheeses, chutneys... - to cook them yourself. You can also taste oysters on site by talking to the producer himself.

It hovers in an urban and arty atmosphere in the excellent Foodstory Café. Bar made of reclaimed wood, apparent wind tunnel, psychedelic lamps: the setting is quite offbeat and the food excellent. It is spread over two floors, with a wide selection of typical and handcrafted objects, but also kitsch souvenirs. Le Creel serves fresh seafood, freshly caught by the owner or brought in by local divers and suppliers. So it couldn't be any fresher! Teas and coffees are also served, as well as cold drinks. The establishment was nominated for the Food Awards Scotland 2020, and had already been spotted and recommended by the same institution in 2019.

On the Isle of Spike, Wapping Wharf brings together some of the best of what Bristol has to offer at the moment, and perfectly sums up the current spirit of the city. There are a number of excellent small independent restaurants, bars and cafés, as well as delicatessen, beer, wine and cider stores. All of this is housed in old containers that recall the city's maritime past and are part of the district's history. The Green Room is a café next to the Black Box concert hall. A popular place for young people and artists from all walks of life. Nice and simple decoration, friendly staff. People come here to work, write, chat. The place always lends itself to creative effervescence. On the menu, the food is home-made, as natural as possible. And so are the pizzas and sauces! The soup of the day is usually a real treat. There is entertainment almost every night at this cultural and foodie venue in Belfast.

It's THE local channel, a real institution in Oxford. There are three establishments spread out in the city, impossible to miss their black and white front, imitation cow.
